Funny that you mentioned that about that specific post. In my response I said that it was always the beta newbies that think that they can find a unicorn. My reply was something along the lines of " you don't see even the most experience people on this sub ever mentioning that they found a unicorn, so why the hell would you be looking for one?"

I think that in the mind of the beta, they think the Unicorn is a girl who will value them for being the " sweet and sensitive nice guy" that they are. What they don't realize is that is a myth. Guys, my unicorn turned out to be a slut and if it wasn't for the cheating, she would still be a unicorn. Jeez, the girl was perfect for me, didn't like to sleep around, was petite, feminine, shared similar interests and values but unfortunately, I put myself into a position where I gave up too much of myself, my hopes, my dreams and my friends to appease and placate that girl.

Hypergamy got me hard, so I have one piece of advice. Even if you do find a unicorn...she still isn't worth what you have to offer. The silver lining is I found TRP after, simply looking for an explanation as to what happened and since, my life has improved dramatically. Still, no other girl fucks me the way she did or can share in what we had. It sucks but thus is life.

Unicorn or not, never give up yourself for a woman.

If you possess a strong frame and work on your SMV, you can attract physically attractive women who are responsible and mature, don't act entitled, and have a pleasant personality (high value). This depends entirely on you.

The idea behind "unicorns" is that they are rare, not because your SMV is too low to attract them, but they are high value women who would still possess all of these desirable traits in a relationship with you even if your frame and SMV are pathetic.

Such a high value woman would very likely be both completely aware of her own worth and simultaneously disregard its own humongous dating/marriage potential due to her generous nature.

Or, well, yes, they're mythical. They're not going to fall into your lap. Someone isn't that good to a complete stranger. Having someone who's that good at all the right levels is something you gotta work at.

Unicorns aren't found, they're made. Its when two people come together, and are both willing to put up with their respective shit, but furthermore are willing to change themselves for their other "half" if you will. Those couples who met when they were 16, married at 18 and now at 68 are still together? 52 years ago I can guarantee you they didn't like each other. They might have even hated each other, but something changes. A lot of things.

In the sense that unicorns are something perfect and pure? Well that's simply not true. Even silver and gold need their polish eventually. Someone's drank that mead and ate that honey. The fact that she's standing in front of you and not someone else means two things- she's been had. That's just reality. The days where even the law ensured that women didn't throw away their sexuality and degrade themselves are gone- gone by decades- and the reality is that very few bother saving themselves. And its got it's perks and drawbacks. But the reality is that for her to be there means she's been through a few thorny bushes. It also means you get to be there because someone else isn't. Maybe she made a mistake. Maybe he died. No one's perfect. We're all human here.

The idea behind a unicorn is that the one we find will be what we want and it will line up with our unique puzzle shape that is our idea of life. The hope is that when we find the unicorn, it'll be a unicorn to only us. My unicorn may have a tattoo, you may hate tattoos, so my unicorn is not yours. The concept is that we will eventually find one for ourselves not one that is perfect in comparison, but is purely complimentary.

If there's no such thing as a unicorn, that means that looking for the right woman to settle down with is a waste of time and energy.

Might I suggest an alternative? PUA polyamory is about developing multiple emotionally-rewarding open relationships with women. She doesn't have to be a unicorn for you to be in a healthy relationship with her, you just have to know how to create and maintain the relationship properly.
