well it ain't mainstream among my peer group males not by any measurable standard. I think it maybe a bit more mainstream among guys at the gym, but only marginally, (observing fawning behaviors @ the hotties). I have dozens of friends who would drop everything and run the moment their girlfriend or wife call. And i was that guy until 2 or so years ago.

You really have to hit a serious bottom to ingest RP truths. And even then, it's a hard pill to swallow. I don't think it's mainstream yet-

Far, far more people read this place than would admit to it. That story alone probably brought 50,000 new eyes. Most won't stay, of course, but the exposure will only increase over time. This is why the sub is so ruthlessly patrolled by the mods.

I saw an article like a month ago that was written on a pretty reputable news site and they were talking about the Red Pill.

The post that they brought up was "how to fuck like a warlord."

That was hands down the funniest thing I've read. Coming from an outsider's perspective, I can just imagine what went through their head when they read that post and wrote about it.

Yea I laughed out loud for nearly ten mins at that article.

But yea, its not mainstream yet though as other's mentioned.

Is this sub about sexual strategy? I'm not disagreeing but when I came here I didn't see that. What I saw was a group of men that wanted to show other men how to be a better man, or just a man in general, in a gynocentric feminine world. One of the main focuses though is how to get women the right way in this society because what you were told growing up was wrong and filtered through feminism.

I saw that same Fox article today. They still got us wrong, but I guess that's besides the point. Hell, even the latest Vice article about toxic subreddits left us off the list, so we must really be going mainstream :)

One thing we'll be announcing soon is a media presence that will allow us to take TRP mainstream while still allowing us to control the narrative. As "red pilling" is happening en mass these days, I want to make sure we get in front of this social phenomenon even more and give people a guiding hand.

We as a community have already taken our lumps, and there's no reason for others to reinvent the wheel so to speak as they become "red pill" and wind up getting attacked for doing so, and then falling back into old patterns of thinking/behavior because society browbeats them into submission. In other words society needs a collective lesson on how to deal with shit tests.

There are a lot of women now who are trying to profit off of the redpill with their bullshit youtube videos. It's the same typical tactic used even by Fox to fool gullible conservative betas. Just put up a hot girl and have her repeat the same shit as men and she will get more views from idiots.

The powers that be are experts at pulling organised groups apart into little pieces. They will not allow Redpill to stand for traditionalism. They know if enough women are involved it won't stand for anything. So if it becomes mainstream they will ensure that the 'dark side' of the redpill who are not inclusive to women are shamed into oblivion, but they will allow the sexual strategies aspect so that women can continue to use their sexual power to keep men in servitude.

Not surprisingly, the mainstream media has largely dismissed the red pill phenomenon. Coverage has mainly stressed the connection to men’s rights activists —the Red Pill forum on Reddit and the documentary, “The Red Pill,” are both about men’s rights. This narrow focus, however, misses the larger story.

The fact that they in the media try and stress a connection with the MRM as if the MRM is a bad thing shows how off base they are.

I do think TRP and MR is connected, and maybe should try reconciling somewhat. Both have evolved a lot in past 4 years since the falling out, and while there would still be differences, overall they're much closer together that anything on the SJW side.

Something I read here critical of the MRM is how we try and tone our language to be more accessible and "PC." I have to disagree with TRP stance against that- the MRM is already very anti-PC as it is to the mainstream media, we just moderate language to make us more accessible and not to make it easy to criticize. Some of the language I see here would make it hard to introduce a skeptical person to the subreddit without them being turned off. I like how the MRM tries to present themselves in a moderate manner, so I can show strangers and ease them into it.

Serious trp is unknown in the UK. I mean i come from the 'so suave don juan' days and still have not seen a tremendious move.

I see a lot of young bucks acting out and going through the anger phase, quoting exact things they read on trp and promoting the exact same agendas politically whicb dont even apply over here. But they arent even noticed by the uninitiated.

Trp needs to stay how it is. The core values might promote greater output of human efficiency and better mind sets, but like the stoics of athens or the scientists of the dark ages - our ideas have no place in society and will lead only to persecution.

I know some have ideas of revolution and change or taking back the land from the femenist grasp. But in reality, we will be dead long before any significant change.

It was only a matter of time when TRP becomes the new edgy thing. You see the influx of nu males here who honestly believe that talking about stoicism and having obscure theories get they laid or make them successful. Almost all questions on askTRP can now be answered with the song of "Lift and Abundance".

The amount of people who really hit rock bottom, or are so self-reflected to question their third-party-prescribed happiness and behavior in this world so they would go against their own grain has not risen imho.

The same happend with the PUA community back in 2007. When high-schoolers and college kids just wanted to get laid and cook it down to the basics the edgy people arrived after Neil Strauss book was turned into a documentary.

So yes, TRP became acknowledged. It is no more dangerous to utter the wish of a traditional family or to vote Republican. The road is paved but it is still rocky enough to claim that you did something outstanding by travelling it. Case in point: the same kind of people who claimed SJWism is pure and cannot do any wrong claim TRP is per se the ultimate truth. You will see converts have the most dogmatic view on the world. I predict threads here where kids will have a cock measuring contents on who is more RP.
