The dopamine rush that people get from "being the underdog" is ridiculous.

First of all, TRP isn't new. It's core "tenants" in terms of a philosophical movement is over 100 years old. The only difference is, the shift in gender dynamics today has forced the original movement to evolve to include gender relations. Just study Teddy Roosevelt's "Strenuous Life" and you can see the many similarities.

We're all aware that the social constructionist idea of gender relations is categorically wrong (But just like convincing a religious person to disbelieve in his fairy tale, it's like smashing your head against a wall, especially when there is a financial/power benefit for holding the idea) and so TRP delivers a right-wing, self-improvement program which is wide open for debate (Good luck with that, btw), to help men succeed in life. It merely baits you in with the promise of an orgasm with a sexy cum-dumpster.

Our language is un-PC, not our ideas. Take any concept here, don't mention TRP in any way and watch society agree as either being obvious or logically/morally legitimate. TRP is mainstream, it just has many different names

What I hope with that, is that there will be huge social backlash both among women and men against the monster that the #metoo culture has become.

Case in point, the recent video of a Korean MMA fighter showcases well what the #metoo movement is doing to young men.

Korean MMA fighter refuses to take a picture with a ring girl. He had previously been accused of sexual harassment.

Here's the story with videos. If you've been to the videos subreddit, you'd have seen it, as the thread posted in the subreddit hit the front page.

Now, one argument the feminists/overprotective dads with daughters make is that women need protection from sexual harassment/assault.

I don't argue against that.

What I'm arguing against is giving the females power over males, thus creating power dis-balance between genders.

I also remember that 10 years ago, this division between genders was not a thing, as it wasn't so politicized and made to be a "thing". I get that women, on average, have higher gender association between each other, which manifests in coming around to help a fellow female, and offering her unconditional support, while males offer few words to another man and the hurt man is supposed to deal with his feelings on his own.

Right now, I'd like to address about the need that females need protection from sexual harassment as it currently stands judicially in the western world/USA.

When we punish men for simply touching a woman worse than those who murder, it tells a lot about the current state of affairs.

If you touch a woman, and she deems you unworthy of her touch (not sexually attractive enough/not enough other qualities etc), then you get to go to jail, you get ostracized by the society, have to get on the sex offender registry for a few years (yes, even for a simple, unwanted touch). No future job career, you'll get lucky if you get ANY job after having sex harassment/assault on your file.

Secondly, the #metoo cultivates the idea that women are babies with adult faces who need protection from evil predatory men, which in turn cultivates them to be hyper-sensitive to minor male behavior that stems from our sexual nature.

There are other consequences, such as alienation between genders, walking on eggshells in relationships, since the bar has gotten very low and the consequences are life-ruining.

It also makes sexual activities more ... mechanical, like having to ask a girl every 15 seconds if it's ok to touch another part of her body, or having to sign a consent form before engaging in sex, or just in general being cautious and always making sure you have the consent. Women like spontaneity & decisiveness in men, they don't want to have to tell a guy to grab her around the waist and caress her, he's supposed to read her body language and understand it on his own, but men won't be doing that anymore, due to some of the reasons I mentioned above.

tl;dr fathers with daughters, who're in overprotective mode, and hyper-sensitive feminists have decided for the rest of us that trading personal freedoms for the absolute safety is a must.

A dad who has a daughter might have sons, such dad might have relatives who're male. The future generation isn't just gonna be female. An overprotective dad is not thinking about other males, he doesn't care about them as much as he does for the well being of his daughter. Which is why I think a short-sighted approach is what such dads are guided by.

I understand why dads with daughters are willing to cultivate this culture of reigning permanent punishment for males who acted out of their sexual desires, and giving women safeguards at the expense of men, I do.

If I had a daughter, my instincts would probably also make me overly protective of her, and I'd gladly trade the sexual freedom of males for my daughter's safety, but things like this have larger societal consequences. Whether positive or not is up to debate.

I can understand that living as a pretty girl means being sensitive to sexual assault/harassment/unwarranted objectification and other things, but if we as a society allow cruel and unusual punishments to be imposed on the male behavior that stems from our sexual instincts, then we're just trading our personal freedoms for the sake of absolute safety.

And women get to experience the downsides of the excessive #metoo witch-hunt.

Women thrive on subtlety and spontaneity, but now, even the most sexually attracted men at the top, like Henry Cavil, would do what the feminists wanted - be very cautious and safe, not flirt, not talk about sexual stuff with other women, and so on.

A typical woman's response to this is "well, if it means predators are going to stay away from us, then good! Good men won't be afraid to keep hitting on us and giving us attention".

No, that's not how it works. I'd go in detail, but nobody cares. Enjoy your safety, but remember that the minority of hyper-sensitive women made it worse for the majority of women, who otherwise aren't as sensitive and vindictive towards men when the latter do minor "misconducts" that stem from our sexual nature.

As Dave Chapelle said regarding the #metoo/feminists: "you're not gonna get far through FEAR"

Matrix references: I get that the name of the group is derived from the movie but referencing as a credible narrative kinda undermines your entire article. It’s a movie - written by people for mass entertainment/artistic expression, albeit a very well made one. But trust when I say every time I see somebody back a point up with the matrix- I stop taking them seriously.

Try not to quote it.

vague dystopian futurism: I get it that the world is in for a shitty time for everyone who doesn’t figure it out(I have a post I’m planning on this too) but that is a narrative that’s been bled to death for me personally anyway. The world has always gotten harder and crazier , when the industrial revolution hit Britain or when the world wars happened or Y2K or whatever else. The world has always been in for crazy times - we are living crazy times right now. They simply haven’t come knocking on your door yet is all.

Even if the ocean is turning to fire, the govt will claim that we are working on it and the pacified masses will hope that their tax dollars can do something about it. It’s not that people don’t wanna fight back against the narrative- but who has the power ?

If you think it’s ordinary people, I got some bad news.

RedPill will become mainstream: If you understood power dynamics then you would recognize that this place can never become openly mainstream.

Don’t also underestimate females ability to create a stronger counter movement for people to join , something more sinister then feminism that can actively attack men.

You’re new at this process. So keep at it - but I really wouldn’t publish until after a month of writing and then pick your best one.

I’m no expert at it either , but I’m just a little farther along then you are and recognize some early mistakes.

I don't think I'd say it will become mainstream as an idea, simply because the Red Pill is the truth. The truth doesn't care about politics, or socio-economic trends. The truth just is, and even though the majority of men don't see it, while the majority of women ignore it, the truth will still be there.

Acting as a man according to red pill ways of thinking is how men behave according to their biology. It's only "non-mainstream" because feminism has pushed it down into the shadows, not because it's a new concept that hasn't gained enough publicity yet.

Marketing is perpetuating BP to a large extent. Females drive the vast majority of purchases, so naturally the media, commercials, and films are going to cater to the female imperative.

If it is to become mainstream, males will have to take over finances, which ironically is encouraged by TRP for LTR’s and marriages. So... maybe.

I mostly agree although I’d adjust your prediction to say that purple pill will one day be mainstream, rather than true deep red pill.

I do think it will be quite soon tho. Like by 2030 purple pill will be common sense to a lot of people. I do still think crazed feminism will continue to compete as a worldview tho. But yeah its not too far off. Young men are wising up fast.

The Red Pill isn't some big deal "supressed" truth. It's not really a movement.

This "movement" is maybe two steps above the incel crowd and one step below the original PUA crowd. It is a smattering of a small number of slightly below average guys who don't get it when it comes to sex and relationships coming together on the internet to figure things out.

This internet manosphere idea that most men out there in the world are duped and unhappy needs to die. Most men are just fine. Most men live normal lives, go on dates, have sex with women, get married, have decent marital sex lives and a decent marital home, don't get badly divorced, grow old, and die. Most men are not unhappy. Most men are not sexless. Most men are not used, abused, manipulated workhorses. Most men live pretty decent lives.

The below average men who get abused and shit on and have significant trouble getting dates or getting laid seem like a big deal on the internet, but are actually a small minority in the real world.

We are not on the brink, nor will we ever see, some kind of Red Pill uprising. Men, as a whole are not catching on or changing. The overwhelming majority of men are normal guys who work normal jobs, go on dates, have sex, get married, have kids, and die, and aren't mad at women or society or the government.

White nationalists have been claiming, within their circles, that white nationalism will one day become mainstream. They have been telling that for over a few decades.

Truth is, hateful movements like white nationalism will never, ever be mainstream.

And while TRP itself is not a hateful movement like white nationalism, members of the TRP community way too often condone, and sometimes outright support, hateful ideologies, including white nationalism.

That's why 1) this sub has been quarantined and 2) TRP will never become mainstream.

TRP is not just opposition to irrational 3rd wave feminism or sexual strategy or self-improvement. It also has a lot of hateful, racist and bigoted messages.

Great book to back up that 'hard times' saying is 'The Fourth Turning'. It predicts a return to war after the participants in prior wars die off. Essentially that we are predisposed to war and the only thing preventing it is the memory of those that lived through the last one. Once they've died off, there is much less resistance to going to war.

I think we are definitely in the “good times create weak men” part of the cycle right now. Being a strong man, in this part of the cycle, has the largest benefit and worst downsides compared to any other part of the cycle OP references, in my opinion. The downsides being labeled as: a toxic masculine figure, aggressive, and as a “woman hater.” The benefits being: complete personal autonomy, overwhelming opportunity in career paths, and being a desired male partner in a society lacking strong men.

The red pill has always been a place for me to ground myself with reality. I thank everyone who supports young men, such as myself, who needed guiding direction at a critical point in their lives.

If you aren’t here to build your brothers into better men then get the fuck out of here.

It already is and was before; and It's regarded as a topic to be shunned because sociopaths, among others, master it instantly and use it ruthlessly, so the label makes it 'bad'. But success pulls more people into the thing. Globalization and easier acess to knowledge made it possible for more people to 'know' the gears and decide.

We might be witnessing another step in social evolution thanks to the information available. Maybe that's the reason the media tries so hard to silence it, because upon release, it might cause behavorial changes not desirable for the corporations.

I think it's already happening.

It's slow - societies don't change overnight - and being as the mirror that the media holds up to society is often biased towards the feminine, it's heavily watered down. But I still think it's happening.

As long as you don't mention the words "red pill", most of the core tenets are pretty safe to discuss in open company. You run the risk of being considered slightly old-fashioned, but that's about the worst of it.
