This morning, one of my female coworkers came into work in a very bitchy/spacey mood. She was most likely hungover, but there's no way she would admit to it (she's one of those types who acts like her head would explode if she doesn't "go out" every night). I really wanted to say something to her about the shitty attitude but I literally couldn't think of a single way of doing it without making her cry (it is very easy to do- I've done it at least three times). So per the usual routine, everyone is just trying to ignore her for the rest of the day.

The thing that bugs me is, a man coming into the office with such a bad attitude would never be acceptable. He'd get chewed out in a heartbeat. Then after that, can you imagine if he started crying? It's completely unthinkable. I'm in my late 20s, and I have seen every woman I have ever worked with cry at least a couple of times. Now I understand that it's in their nature and they can't help it. But why does that mean we have to put up with this nonsense? It just creates a bad work environment for everyone.
