I am pretty proud to be white and from an upper class family. Why do you have to be a certain religion to be white (as implied in your post)? No other ethnicity has this. I'm white (Ukrainian) from eastern Europe and I'm Muslim. My ancestors have been Muslim for at least almost a thousand years.

I think white men caught up in the leftist zeitgeist of much of the West are finding their identities are collapsing into a void, because much of that old "Christian" identity has been supplanted by SJW/leftists/etc.

When a group plays the victim card for everything, they are stating that they are a victim of a superior group. They are saying that white people are superior to them. I don't know why minorities think that white people are so much better than themselves.

Thanks for saying this. I pretty much exit conversations when I hear the typical "As a _____" trigger. I'm a cis white male in San Francisco, I'm at the back of the line for having any kind of opinion in group discussions. Thankfully I found a little company full of libertarians who think diversity is great but aren't going to sacrifice performance for diversity. There's one woman but I'm really not allowed to tell her to shut up about anything, just like I'm not allowed to tell people who talk about reparations to shove it.

People assume because I'm a rich white guy that I have one perspective, but I grew up pretty poor and have had to work hard to get to where I am... I'd have to explain my oppression qualifications a lot before making any actual points of discussion. Some people who catch on to that are usually similar and we get along really well no matter what they look like. And they've had the same experience. Just avoid people who cash in on it, and people who enable them with virtue signaling, and you should find a good diverse group of productive and free people. Those are lazy people. Good allies are not lazy.

Obivously, I can't speak to how often that happens to whites, but I can't think of any black or latino person that hasn't gone through that.

I could go on for days talking about this, but the bottom line is these white kids complaining because chicks aren't attracted to them or because they feel society blames them for all their problems are fucking idiots. I've seen many whites do just fine and even some who understand the frustations of minorities everywhere.

Is the "white man" holding people back probably but not in the way we as group think. I believe it was more self preservation and in group preference on their part and it wasn't just towards my people as blacks. Any group that's in power will want to remain in power and they will always have their own interests first. That doesn't absolve them of the fucked up shit that has and currently goes on but it's more understandable.

The other issue being my own people. After the civil rights movement the women left for feminism while crack hit and the men well the ideal of alpha for a man changed in our community. As a people we have plenty of dysfunctional issues. The whole willie lynch letter comes to mind even though it isn't real.

White is a meaningless term in America. Are you Old Stock? German? Irish? Scandinavian? Polish? Same as "brown." The only reason "black" is meaningful is because the vast majority of black Americans are descendants of slaves brought here and the term has become synonymous with that unique subculture. Not to mention the fact that they were shit on as a group for literally centuries. So it's not that "whites" don't have an identity. They do. But if you decouple it from white people's relation to non-Whites their identity is a lot more dispersed. Which is why people have such a hard time trying to create some kind of comprehensive, all-encompassing "white" identity. It doesn't work like that.
