Besides your own self-esteem and self-respect there are many reasons to "always be prepared" and to invest in yourself. You never know when some random thing is going to happen and that extra effort you spent will pay off. Something heavy falls over on top of someone and you're the only one able to lift it off of them. Even though you live somewhere with no cute girls, one actually appears and you have the confidence to talk to her. Somebody who is in a position to offer you a job or could be useful to you happens to be passing though and you can actually make a decent impression on them because you actually took a shower and cleaned yourself up and are in good shape instead of looking like a slob, and you read some books or studied something that makes you useful or interesting. You can't really expect anything like that to happen, but when something does happen, being in good shape and looking halfway decent and not being drunk and having studied stuff puts you in a much better position than the majority of people who are fat, out of shape, don't read, have no skills, messed up on drugs and alcohol etc. When opportunity knocks it's too late to suddenly wish you had lost 50 pounds or that you learned a foreign language or ...

I have a theory. ( take this with a grin of salt and respect that this is abit opinion based)

I belive that this culture will go so far that massive male suicides will accure due to depression and lonliness cause men cant go from having gf’s at 18-20 years old to being virgins into their 30’s and new laws for what classifies as sex work will be implemented. Maybe online sexwork will decline and prostitution will rise alot more. The goverment will push pairing humans together beacus of it low birthrate, any country with low birthrate is a country that will dissapear if nothing is done properly.

So i belive that this problem will come to an conclusion, it’s a matter of time.

Most men do not bother. They just read stuff on the internet.

First TRP is amoral. Respect has no bearing on how someone applies TRP.

Motivation or ”The why” is contextually individual. TRP can be used for whatever goal; or none at all. That said ”The Why” should be your mission. Your mission may be to spin plates. Or spend Sundays polishing your dream car. Whatever it is; ”when your mission drives your actions; it’s one of the most immense feelings of congruence you can ever experience.

My litmus test for discerning my mission is; if you’re waking up, daily, excited to get going; you’re on the right path.

I also find it useful to see where you could end up if you decide to "quit".

I recently encountered a 36 yo guy who, in his free time, basically just played video games and was an unpaid moderator for his ex girlfriends cam show (facepalm). And of course he looked like your typical out of shape, nerdy guy too. He claimed he was happy with his life and had no ambitions to change it, no career or personal goals.

Seeing guys like that will send a chill down your spine, and make you promise not to get too comfortable.

I doubt many here would contest being the best you you can be for you. The issue is that most people let "society" dictate who they are to be, with that "society" being entities that have a vested interest in you behaving a certain kind of way. Usually it'll affect their bottom line in some way, but they'll present themselves as society's mouthpiece (the diamond industry coming up with engagement rings out of thin air comes to mind). It reminds be of when the Church was the most powerful entity during the middle ages. You had individuals purport to speak for God who just so happened to want people to do what best advanced their cause.

Whenever someone asks you to be selfless ask if your selflessness feds their selfishness in some way and why the tables shouldn't be reversed. Too often people in the RP think they have freed themselves from the constraints to which they have been bound only to replace one master with another, or, what's worse, think themselves free simply because they can now see their bonds.

what i'm starting to see is attention from low SMV simps is being devalued by women too. it's too free and easy, and just means less to some of them. they also realize those guys are low SMV, and the value of their attention is therefore lower or even worthless to start with, and it ends up being not validating at all. some will go berserk trying to get attention and approval from higher SMV men that don't give it away for free.
