She says elsewhere that her ex was an Ivy League educated lawyer who was hot and rich (whom she broke up with). So this, plus her comments, show that her standards are impossibly high. There are plenty of good men out there willing to date her, but none of them are good enough for her.

Like many, she had her chance with a high quality guy, but blew it because she thought that same level of quality would exist for her to pluck off a tree, at any age.

These women likely have an avoidant attachment style. They’re literally unconsciously avoiding relationships with decent men by setting “standards” people will never be able to meet. If by some slim chance a man did meet those standards, they’d find something wrong with him too.
