Been here almost a year as a lurker, been taking a lot in and reading as much as I can. Very happy with progress and have lots to keep working away at.

In the past I would have a constant text train with my girlfriend every day. I've been out of that for a good few months now and am happy with things. Spending my time working and doing, and no time at all worrying about texting away. Feels good.

Now, we text for logistics, sexy texts and the occasional random too and fro.

She will occasionally text me innocent things, "I love you hun" or "hey, how's your day going?".

All of us here have our own personalities, our own women and our own lives. I'm not looking to live off a script and only have certain responses to these texts, but I'm still unsure of the correct type of way to respond to them.

I wouldn't say they are any kind of test, they seem sincere. Is a simple "I love you too" ok? How about asking how my day is? I prefer to speak to her about that in person when we get home, not over text. I can just tell her that in response, but it seems harsh if the question is sincere. Do I just ignore her and stfu?

Simple questions and I'm probably over thinking it, but would appreciate some input. There are posts saying texting should be logistics and sexting only, I'm not sure where these fit in.
