As much as people would criticise you, I feel your pain. AWALT, but all women are different as well.

I had a GF a long time ago who was over the top sexual. She was keen on experimenting and really loved sex. Of course she loved it so much that she had it with other man (or men) and we ended it there.

Was something expected out of the extreme effort put forth in setting up a date, a sitter, chocolates and so forth? Was there some unsaid promise that she would engage sexually with you as a result?

If so (and I suspect this is the case), then yes. Yes this was a covert contract.

That said, there was a failure to game - as many other gentlemen have pointed out.

Just a little different take for you on this post. Two of the more important things I found here; "Women are reactive, men must be proactive to get a response from a woman" and “Women don’t love men. They love how men make them feel".

This isn't a Disney movie. There is no "and they lived happily ever after". If you want a marriage filled with pussy and desire, you gotta work for it. One of the biggest lies I was told as a kid is "good things come to those who wait". Bullshit. Good things come to those who work their asses off.

So, should marriage be this hard and take so much work and energy on your part? Disney says no. In reality, yes, its that hard and more. Get past your anger phase, drop the covert contracts. This experiment proved it. You didn't get sexual with her, therefore she didn't get sexual with you. Pretty direct cause and effect to me. You gave her no opportunity to react to your proactive initiations. Did you inspire her desire, fuel her imagination, make her hamster run, or game her at all?

Understand that you're the captain and she's your first mate. Think about what that relationship entails. The responsibility of the entire ship: maintenance, refueling, finances, repairs, upgrades, crew morale; everything depends on you. Even things you delegate to her, in the end fall on you. The captain is where the buck stops.
