Last night the wedding ring was hammered into a wedding metal strip. Two weeks earlier:

I have been reading MRP and some stories really connected with me, I also had a lazy bedroom and the wife felling entitled to gifts ad praises. I recognized that I have dropped the ball and started to implement what I learned here right away.

STFU is the hardest thing. I have something to say about everything, and a hundred times a day I tell myself - STFU. Exercise is back in my life. Before marriage I was in the gym 5 days a week, after - I thought that my money and time should be spent on house maintenance and garden instead. Reading the sidebar has re-opened my eyes - I dropped the ball.

She responded to my changes by not lifting a finger even more than usual. For over a week I have been doing laundry, cooking, cleaning, feeling like I am single again. This is on top of my usual 8-5 job and kitchen/bathroom renovations I am doing at the moment after work. I can't live like a pig anymore, I want a nice, clean, welcoming house, and if she can't deliver - I will.

Yesterday she wanted me to take her to a restaurant for dinner, I could not believe my ears, I responded with STFU and later made a meal only for myself instead. Next thing I know she grabbed a hammer and smashed the wedding ring a few times.

Not sure what that means, time will show. For now I will continue to work on myself and the house.
