My mother has a crazy oneitis with my dad that has lasted my entire life. My dad left my mom when I was 4 years old and and basically started gaming many other women over the years.

20 years later if she gets really mad at me about anything he still gets a lot of his share and the reason anything is wrong with me boils down to "your father is a total asshole/ incapable" most of the time

A few months ago the topic relationships came up with my sister. She had this guy in her middle/high school class 10 years ago and they hooked up a few times here and there, were in a relationship when they were 15 or something (she is 27 now). The guy was basically known for being rather "Chad". Easily the most popular at school, but she was too.

Like 3 years ago he contacted her to meet him and she literally drove 600km, they probably fucked for a weekend, a week later he goes back to his girlfriend (who was diagnosed as crazy and she actually killed herself some time ago over him after he didn't want that girl anymore, no joke!) and dumped my sister completely.

She ended the story with "one day when I'm 80 years old I'll write him a letter to say how much of an asshole he is so he knows it blabla".

A year later she settled with another guy and they are in a stable relationship with a kid but she still talks about Chad every now and then (mentioning that weird letter thing) even though her boyfriend is quite the alpha as well, has super high social proof etc. but she just can't get over Chad Thunder Cock.

It made me cringe so fucking hard. Oneitis.

I feel like I'm on the way to making an Alpha Widow right now. TBH it's not a great feeling. I really like this woman but she is way more invested than me. Which means it's easy for me to keep my frame, which seems to attract her more. At some point I'll have to let her down; unless her frustrations cause her to walk or she finds someone better. It's a completely different kind of oneitis. Barring the deranged stalker, a woman's oneitis is usually based on objectively "male" traits, where as a guy can get oneitis for a ugly woman who treats him like garbage and has trash pussy. A man's oneitis is emotional, a woman's is feral.
