Man, dating a woman that doesn't desire you is cancer. Your issue is one that couples that have been together for years should face, not fucking six months.
It's completely different when a woman "puts out" and when she is craving for you and really glad with you because you are fucking her.

Don't cheat, that's a shitty thing to do. Everyone is shitty these days but you can be better.
BREAK UP, don't downgrade. It'll ease your conscience. Maybe someday you'll be over it and try again. Maybe not.

Anyway, don't feel so guilty for cheating while on this spot. I almost cheated on a woman I was engaged to because of this, I really needed a woman craving for me and she didn't. I've heard from women how easy it is to "steal" a guy when his girlfriend "isn't doing her business".
Learn your lesson, don't do it again, and move on.

As you break up, don't fucking tell her why and ABSOLUTELY don't tell her you cheated. "Look, I don't see us moving on, we're stuck. I guess we should seek people we're more compatible with" is a good line.
Don't feel guilty. There is a guy out there for whom your girlfriend will do absolutely anything, and she'll be the happiest woman in the planet once she finds him.
There's a woman there for whom you're this guy and you'll be really happy once you find each other.

My takeaway from this is you have a Godzilla sized hamster.

In reality, you didn't cheat on your girlfriend because she really wasn't your GF to begin with.

You were with her for six months, rarely had sex while you were with her (even though she she had plenty of sex with other guys before she met you) and she ended the relationship ("taking a break" usually means I want to fuck other guys).

In other words, she really wasn't your GF.

Tell your so-called GF that you'll take her up on her offer. This way you can move on and clear your conscience.
