To make this short, we saw each other at a mutual friends house last night. I was over at my buddy's (she is friends with his wife) and I'm pretty sure my buddy's wife texted her that I was there and she came over and said she was returning a shirt to my buddy's wife.

Anyway, me and my buddy were on the back porch having a few beers and she came out with his wife. We all talked like nothing was wrong for about 45 mins. I would assume the wife obviously knows we haven't been talking. I doubt my buddy had any idea until that night.

My buddy's wife goes inside for something, buddy goes to take a piss and her and I start talking. I saw my buddy's wife intercept him and basically tell him to give us a few mins. We start talking and things start coming out. She said she hasn't contacted me because the night we went out I made fun of her in front of her brother and sister in law, and she says I always do that. We went out and had a nice nice, went to her brothers afterwards to have some beers and she said I started making fun of her. I do tease her a lot, but never in an intentionally harmful manner. She said her sister in law even said something to her about how I make fun of her. She was pissed about that. Her brother also asked if I liked Corona. I told him I'd rather drink the coolant out of my car than that piss. She said it was rude and I embarrassed him. I told him I was just playing, and he should have known I was, but her and her sister in law probably got on the phone the next day and were yapping to each other and her sister in law probably made it 100x worse than it really was.

She said a lot of other things have been building up. One thing is her parents still are really involved in her life and she gets super offended when I tell her she shouldn't let them be so damn involved in her life and decisions. I made the comment that same night that she doesn't have to ask how high when her parents say jump (this was in private before we were at her brothers). I thought she was going to punch me in the face when she was telling that. I've NEVER seen her so mad. She even clenched her first like she was going to hit me lol. Said her parents are great people (they are) and they are only looking out for her (they are) and I'm a dick. She's very responsible, but her parents trump all.

She also said I'm an "arrogant dick," and "So fucking cocky. You think you're so great and so good looking." I am a little cocky, but again I tease a lot and make jokes in a cocky funny manner. I'm never serious that I am better than anyone else and she knows it. She said I have a lot of friends and she just likes to keep to herself and we're different in that way. I know she's insecure that I have a lot of friends. The "arrogant dick" comment was a little surprising. She said I am "shady" too because I put my phone down face down and she doesn't trust me. She also brought up the first 6 months we dated and continued to beat that dead horse.

I let her talk and vent. I stayed stoic. I told her I am the same person I always was. Yes, I can be a dick sometimes. Yes, I can be cocky. And maybe I was rude to her brother but not intentionally. I told her that she has been extremely disrespectful as of late and it wasn't like her and I was not going to put up with it. She said the above were the reasons why.

She is extremely sensitive about shit, and maybe I've been laying the teasing on too thick. Maybe I was a dick to her brother, but he's a cool and chill dude and I hardly think he would have taken what I said about something so stupid the wrong way, but I will tell him (1 on 1) that if I did offend him, that was my bad. I am doing that because I don't want him to be offended, not to appease her. Sometimes things come out wrong. I guarantee if it was offensive to him, he will be over it the second we talk. I didn't even tell her I'm going to talk to him.

When we first started talking last night she said she didn't want to see me anymore and I better not touch her. By the end of the conversation she was crying and we made out.

I don't know, sounds some of these are legit, and some of them are just things to bitch about because she's hurt from the past or insecure from the present.

Or maybe I am failing comfort tests?
