What does matter is that we're here.

It's good that you've also found this place while relatively young like myself: I was the same as you a couple months ago.

Life's all about enjoying the journey you create for yourself. Figure out what it is that you want in life, whatever it be and focus on trying to achieve that. Set little goals for yourself and once you hit those set even more.

Don't get all depressed over this, it's a major waste of time and end of the day no one gives a shit you're mopey. So use that energy on something productive

You just reached the point of nothing to lose. There is no greater freedom. Yes, from your angle right now, it seems futile. You're looking at the floor where you landed when you fell from the traditions society feeds us.

Stop looking at the floor. Look up. See? See how much you can climb now? No roof, no glass ceiling. YOu just landed in the truth. Now you get to design what you want, how you want it and how often you want it.

Rather than being sad about it, because I'm sure you are brooding about losing the dream fed us by society, just imagine the possibilities! Now you are free to explore, decide what things you like and live your life to fulfill all those likes. It's just a wonderful starting point when you get over the initial shock.

That's called Nihilism and if you go to it's conclusion (life will end, humanity will end, sun will end universe will cease to exist) you can just kill yourself now. But then you are here and you had not choice in it. While it is essentially useless, you can still make the best out of it by enjoying yourself.

Your life is your own personal move or shall I say stage. You can play whomever you want and whatever you want be it a drama, action movie or comedy. Decide on what and then go out on the stage and have some fun. Don't take it too serious. It's a fun game and hence play it like that.

And it is totally OK to choose being the asshole or bad guy. If that is what suits you.

It's normal. So you have to find your own. The ONE thing that will drive your life, for many years. It's called a purpose. When you achieve that or want to move on, no problem, you're only engaged to yourself.

What do you prefer, having the freedom to choose your own purpose or have it chosen for you (religion gives you God and Eternal Life as a purpose, pop culture gives you romantic love as a purpose, love itself gives you a romantic partner as a purpose).

Pick your own. Find something that would prevent you from breathing if you don't do it. Don't make it a woman, make it something you and only you have a control over.

It can be anything you want. But you're your own vessel.

It's scary. And it's liberating. That's the taste of ultimate freedom.

What's the point in playing Tetris? To get the highest score you can and have fun doing it. Similarly, in life, there's no intrinsic purpose. But we're here, and we're playing. IMHO, we might as well go for the high score.

The best part of where you're at now is that you'll soon realize that a life without intrinsic meaning means that you get to choose what you live for. To continue with the Tetris analogy: that means you get to decide how you score points! You get to decide what the "correct" way to live a life is, and you can take action towards living that ideal life.

If that's not simultaneously the most liberating, yet scary thought in the world, I don't know what is.

You now have a solid perspective on life. You make of it what you want. In the past, religion played a big part in shaping drives and beliefs. Now you understand why it was necessary.

Also, people love stories of rising above adversity in life. This is your greatest challenge, making something out of nothing.

I'll give you some advice to start, though I'm sure you've heard it before: improve the body you exist in, aka start lifting. Make getting healthier and stronger your goal. Your stats many be low in the beginning, but everyone starts a game with 100% health. Whatever you do, try to keep your health at 100

You are PRIME red pill material. I don't want to become too eastern philosophy on your ass, but you need to learn how to INTERNALIZE your values. This is important especially if you see other people are being miserable and simply putting up with bullshit in order to chase the next big "payoff" (eg. college > job > marriage > house > car, etc)

Women will need to mean far less to you when you have your shit together and youre enjoying the journey, valuing each new day for what it is. Act like you have terminal cancer but you have an entire lifetime left. Kick back and enjoy the show, and everything else will fall into place for you.
