My bet is you said/ did more than just “I like you”. Maybe you looked at her with puppy dog eyes, maybe you used the word love. We do not have all of the story here, if a girl is fucking you and you simply tell her that you like her that is very basic levels of comfort. It is literally lower on the comfort ladder than a hug. Tell us more, explain the exact context and we will get an answer for you.

Because by telling her you like her you're making her the prize. Attraction = you're the prize. Making her the prize kills attraction.

There's no need to tell her you like her anyway unless she asks or whatever. You clearly like her since you haven't left.

By making her work for your attention she's convincing herself she's earning your attention.

So you have to initially show intent and then withdraw interest. That is the essence of game.

Good god... this past reminds me of my early TRP treks. HB8 personal trainer... Latina with a beautiful body. Hot and heavy with each other but she always joked we should date.

I honestly don't know how to explain it, but I don't think you shouldn't say it, more like approach the topic in a different way. You have to talk about it at some point, and if telling girls always failded then many people I know that suck at this wouldn't have had an LTR.
