Get the powder, you'll get the same effects and its pretty cheap. It will increase your ATP levels, which basically means you'll be able to get one or two more reps in when your lifting heavy ass weights. It also adds some water weight to your muscles, so they will look bigger, as well as improve brain function. Just make sure you drink a lot of water when your using it.

There is evidence to suggest that creatine will increase your dht. It is probably one of the few supplements that actual impacts your hormone profile.

If you're prone to make pattern baldness, it's best to avoid.

If you use creatine, start taking pictures of your hairline to ensure it doesn't damage it.

Buy the powder, cheaper. I have been using it and wouldn't get off it. Increased my lifts a lot. Great stuff. Improves brain function as well

Creatine is well worth it because of how exponential growth works.

However, cheap everyday creatine is usually produced in China and may be quite inpure. Look for the German Creapure quality.

Also, buy powder, not pills.

Makes you 5-10% stronger, muscles accumulate more water so they look bigger, cheap, no side effects. Why wouldn't you do creatine?

Get the powder though, very easy to mix in a glass of water and drink, the pills are a waste of money.

Just like BCAAs and the myriad of other fitness supplements, I've never thought it was worth the money. I think the supplement industry needed to sell you more than whey, so now they have you dosing on various products before, during, and after your workout; so now you're constantly spending money to look like some juiced guy on Instagram who also has Adobe gainz. Scamz.

My opinion is put your money toward actual food and put the work in at the gym.

Personally never felt any difference when using creatine or preworkouts but everyone reacts differently so if you can I'd suggest looking around for a free taster and see how you respond to it.

The most basic form of powdered creatine mono hydrate is great and works as well as any more expensive creatine variant. I recommend cutting it out when you go on an actual cut since it can cause your face to bloat a bit and you generally look a bit more bulbous from the water retention. It definitely has noticeable effects however and will make you bigger and give you the strength to push out a few extra reps/lift a bit heavier.

I was unreasonably sore for days after martial arts no matter how well I stretched, ate, slept, or hydrated. I turned to a Personal Trainer/nutritionist friend and explained the situation. Without pause he said "You need creatine" After some research and recommendations I went with ON Creatine (Optimized Nutrition, it's a micronized form so it dissolves better).

Within days the achy soreness lasted less and less. Then I started getting really hungry. The creatine was basically making sure my muscles got what they needed.

Look around on /r/fitness and you'll see that, besides protein, creatine is one of the top recommended supplements. Do your own research too so you'll know what time of day is best to take it.

Get micronized creatine powder. It's cheap and you don't have to split it with anyone. Dymatize or ON are good options. Take a teaspoon everyday.

The net effect of creatine might make a difference to you if you're in the NFL or NBA, but you don't really need it if you're a regular guy, even a regular guy who lifts, etc.

Avoid it like the plague. That shit is basically concentrated sugar. Sure, it works to some degree, but creatine specifically has so many drawbacks that it isn't worth it unless you are the 0.0001% who are hardcore into lifting and need the extra cutting edge.
