lk5 very common mistakes I see guys make when approaching:

  1. Not interesting: This is the #1 approach killer. Before you get all upset, I am not saying "you" are boring but that your "approach" is boring. If you use openers to bombard her with random questions, that's are boring. If your approach doesn't include flirting, that's boring too. If your approach doesn't make her laugh or at least smile, that's boring. If your approach doesn't impress her somehow, that's boring. So what should you do instead? First, you must build the experience of what it is to be with you, and your approach should be all about bringing her into that experience as quickly as possible.
  2. Timing: A successful approach requires great timing. Timing paces your delivery of the approach and much like timing in comedy if the timing is wrong nobody gets the joke. Here is an example: You're standing outside Starbuck waiting for your friend to get his drink and you spot a beautiful woman a few meters away walking in your direction. You react a split second late and she's now 1 or 2 steps passed you but you still go for it and you deliver your experience while trying to close the distance. That split-second indecision changes the dynamics of your approach. In a split second, you've turned into the needy and slightly creepy guy.
  3. Safety: We men tend to forget that safety is always top of mind for women. That's something most of us men do not always take into account. So a woman is always on high alert for danger. What does it feel like? Imagine yourself walking down in a bad neighborhood at 2am. You probably are feeling anxious, on high alert, your senses run high and pick up smells, scents, sounds, vibes, energies and anything that could spell danger. That's how women walk around. You're probably already know these: Don't silently walk behind a woman, don't sneak up on her, don't corner her...etc. Ideally You want to give the person you're approaching a moment or second to see you coming (even if only from the corner of their eye) and get a feel for you. This will keep her alarms off and you should have a much easier time approaching.
  4. Body Language: before you approach a woman and start a conversation with her, she queues off your body language and energy. If your energy is anxious or insecure then she'll react to that and will turn you down. Do this instead:
    1. Hold eye contact
    2. Keep your hands visible and palm open when gesturing.
    3. Show some teeth i.e. smile
  5. Time Constraint: She will be much more receptive to your approach if you introduce a timeconstraint early in the approach. Always make it clear to her that this interaction has a clear endin a few minutes. After all, who doesn't have 5 minutes to spare?
