i should preface this by saying that im 27M and i would consider myself attractive. exercise pretty much everyday and would say im pretty lean, at least lean enough to see a 6 pack (under good lighting and posing lol) but i wouldnt say im attractive enough to have women throw themselves at me. i feel invisible to cute women irl. i hardly ever make eye contact with one in public and many just seem to ignore me when im walking down the street or whatever. which is fine, i get that as guys we should be making the first move anyways.

i just recently went on a date with a girl i met on hinge. she was pretty cute and i would say we were probably equal in terms of looks. the amount of stares i got from women was almost uncomfortable because im not used to that much attention. i just felt like everywhere we went there would be women giving us glances. we hardly got any looks or glances from guys and if we did it, they towards her.

the most obvious one was when we stepped in to a froyo shop and we sat down to eat our yogurt. a group of girls walk in and as they were waiting in line i could just feel them staring at us.

has this happened to anyone else? or does anyone know why this happens?
