Cold approach only : what is a good success rate for a small town (around 100k) ?

For every 100 girls you cold approach, you might be able to sleep with 10 or so if you do things really well, are a pro at cold approach, and relatively attractive.

not worth worrying too much about success rate. It's just not in your control.

If you are exceptional looking, you can maybe bang 1 in 5 girls or something.

But cold approach is a game of screening. You need to find single, hot girls who like how you look. And then, assuming she thinks you are hot and is thus open to being gamed, you need to not mess up. But depending on factors not in your control, you could get rejected a shit tonne of times in a row, even if you've read all teh PUA books and use pushpull and teasing and all the other attraction material

Best bet is to travel too a busy city near you.

If you want actual stats/numbers, famous London PUA's claimed approx one lay per 40 approaches or so. These were pros who dedicated their lives to this. However, some of them faked infield footage which naturally makes one seriously doubt their claimed success rate lol (so maybe torerro was actually 1 lay per 100 approaches and not 1 lay per 40)

End of the day cold approach is 100% a 'numbers game' so ideally you need to make that possible

That's tough OP. I mostly run OLD personally and at my peak success was something like this.. out of 10 matches I'd get 1-2 numbers. Out of 10 numbers I'd get 1 date. Out of 10 dates I'd get 5-7 intimate encounters. Run the numbers that's a ton of fkn matches, hence why the profile has to be spot on. 1-3% total success rate. Notice the hard part is getting the dates and the easy part is closing them when there is already attraction going into it. I've always had talent in the seduction side of things but getting the dates was always the major hurdle (by my estimation this is somewhat backwards). That's a pro/con of online dating afaict.. you have to play the numbers but once you get the date it's a hot lead with a high percentage of going somewhere if your game is strong

Honestly id say dont focus on success rate because that just leads you to make your mentaltiy all about hitting a number and forcing things to happen. Instead just let it happen on it's own that the better you get the more numbers you chase the less you get it.

For success rate i love to mention a scene from HIMYM, where barney (womanizer of the group) is celebrating is 200th lay. Marshall (body count of 1) tells him how barney is not that great at getting girls because if he does his average of girls he hits with, vs the women he ends up getting with, then that means he has a success rate of like 1.2%. It's an exageration but i bet most guys numbers are that much. The thing is some guys just try more than others.

As for the small town comment, i would never consider 100k a small town, that's more like a small city. Unless it's like 4-5 small towns in a similar area.

Hey man these numbers aren’t bad and you trying is the important part. I’d say the way to increase your effectiveness is really just focusing on what works and what doesn’t to develop your game. My best advice is trying the app Shawty to see insights and improve conversion from conversation to number to date. You got this bro

I live in a city of about 120k people. Initially, I thought it was too small, but it's actually huge! The "numbers game" is a flawed theory that doesn't apply in most cases because it is not a normal way of approaching a stranger. The real way to approach is through indirect, situational, or observational openers and building the interaction from there. When you go indirect, you're seen as a social guy rather than a threat. Then, the moment the girl starts opening up and becomes talkative, the dynamic shifts.... is super easy and you have the luxury of rejecting her if you sense your approach is not welcomed.... and she’ll never know what your real goal was. She can’t even go back to her friends and say, "some guy just hit on me because he thought I’m cute, blah, blah, blah..."

Ever since I joined this sub, I’ve always maintained that being direct isn't a natural way to start a conversation, indirect works wonders. These days, I don't even go out specifically to pick up girls because I find them everywhere, especially at the grocery store I frequent.

I mostly go out to bars.

You’ll only find a certain type of woman there. They’re the typical "club girls" but the moment they sense you have money, they’re ready to be your girlfriend. Switch the venue and you’ll find down-to-earth, everyday girls.

I go out 3x a week, can approach on average 1-3 girls/night.

Where I live, clubs are only open on weekends, so I usually go out once a week. If I don't get lucky on Friday, "magic" usually happens on Saturday... the key is not to be too picky. The thing is, you don’t even need to go inside a club or a bar, you can just stay outside. You get to see everyone coming in and everyone heading out... what's next depends on you.

Ive noticed sometimes in small towns I have better luck because everybody knows everybody so I'm a clean slate (don't know any gossip or involved with anybody).

I personally wouldn't make it a numbers thing. I just go out and try my luck, win lose or draw. I mainly just try to have a good time.
