Here's the scoop:

For most people reading this, you're in one of two scenarios - either you're single, with no casual hookups, or you currently have a partner. Once you reach a certain stage in your self-improvement journey, things will take both a positive and negative turn simultaneously.

If you're single, people will start giving you looks on the street. They'll DM you first, hell they might even approach you first. You'll be treated better. Folks will smile at you more. Compliments, from men and women, will barrage you.

The downsides are that A) this can be overwhelming and make your head spin, not knowing what to do, and B) you won't know how to differentiate people who just see you as a piece of meat from people who'd genuinely like to get to know you. Inexperienced folks will experience both, especially the latter. Best thing to do is to remain humble, and treat every positive comment and gesture as if they're all the same.

If you have a boyfriend/girlfriend, they will start noticing everything that I just mentioned above, and either A) get super possessive, B) self-conscious and loathing, or C) be happy for you and treasure you more. Sadly, in today's day and age, option C is extremely uncommon. If your partner is understanding that you want to better yourself, maybe they will join you on the journey. If not, time to let that ship sail.

Finally, if you are single whilst self-improving, the best thing to do is to remain single, especially if you're over the age of 25 (by then you should have SOME sexual and dating experience to warrant waiting). Hooking up and dating people just to get laid/feel something is a waste of time, money, and your nerves. Improve to the point where you'll attract most everybody, then pick someone who is greatly valued themselves, and not just some promiscuous vagabundo that's an easy catch.
