Hold strong eye contact

Warning, apparently it is uncomfortable for most people if you stare at their eyes the entire time you are conversing. Gotta make sure to look away every now and then.

Great stuff! I used to struggle with number 3 in particular, now I just imagine having a Magneto helmet on lol, shutting of all invasive thoughts

What If you have no trouble talking to the fat dude with the beard about axe throwing but the thought of approaching the 10/10 makes you queasy, and you know that if you drink any more you’ll be a write off? How do you steady yourself so that you’re not conveying the most stiff and uncomfortable version of yourself?

7 is huge. Everyone gets nervous. I used to focus on it so much that hiding anxiety was my identity. Now I don’t think about it at all

So, hold strong eye contact, and speak very energetically about your own interests. Seems like a great way to come off as an uncalibratred psycho.

Great advice, and I would add two things. Understand your own personality if you are extrovert or introvert, as it will help you accept how public conversations impact you. As an introvert, forced extrovert, public settings take energy out of me unless I am with close friends. I have to rest and be alone after a public event. Second, prepare and practice confidence, go find YouTube videos to learn skills, like Charisma on Command
