30 doesn't sound crazy. If you can get there in less than a hour it's not bad.

I often look for women in nearby cities. Make a weekend of it and have a mini road trip. Very hit or miss though. A lot of flakes so you have to have multiples lined up.

For social events I think anything under an hour is worth doing. If longer it should be an all day thing, like going to the beach.

Varies. I married a woman who started out living about an hour away from where I was (no traffic - with traffic much longer). We mostly saw each other on weekends and spent the weekend together or I’d drive down to her area and we’d hangout for the whole day.

So, no, 30 miles is not too far. I’m actually looking for women in an area that is about 30 miles from where I am now too.

It’s not ideal but it’s not that big of a deal. Now if that 30 miles is a 3 hour trip both ways - that’s rough.

I have a car and a motorcycle that I love taking on all day trips. 30 miles might as well be down the street.

The limit for me would probably be 2 hours. 1 hour would be just perfect especially if she lived someplace pretty.

As far as setting up dates goes, usually it’s best if she comes to me first. I think it sends major desperation vibes if you’re willing to travel an hour to go see her too early into things. This is not my opinion, that’s just what I’ve observed.

After sleeping together once or twice it usually ends up that I am always going to see her. But in the beginning they’ve always set up dates in my location. I think they prefer that for vetting purposes as well.

Depends on what other options you have. If this is your only option then it's probably better than nothing. But if you have equally good options closer by, then I don't think it makes sense.

Depends where you live. 30 miles in a rural area is nothing but 30 miles in a city is big.

If you decide to meet up with someone try to find a middle spot for the first date. After that you can go to her neighborhood and then she can come to yours.

If you don't have options that are closer from you, I'd recommend you solve that problem instead.

Is your profile bad? Do you live in a rural buttfuck nowhere place? Then get better photos and move to the bigger city.

I guess it depends how much you want it. But in my experience the farther she is, the less she may want to go out with you.

Risk to reward ratio is not great if shes 45 minutes away. If she’s within 30 minutes I’ll give it a shot

I live in a bigger city so around 30 minutes one way is the best I can offer, unless I am going to the downtown area, which is around 25~50 minutes depends on the traffic. I always make the girl take the train and come to my city, and I will drive to the station for 10 minutes to pick her up and hang out, and then go back to my place if it goes well (if they are willing to come to my city to see me they are interested enough, I hate wasting my time).
