Im more afraid of some guy punching me bc hes like “bro youre hitting on my gf”. 90% if the girls Im attracted to are with a guy usually. The rest are with a group of girls and I keep hearing like hit on the ugly one, my friends good and the other girls always pull her away but hes good at keeping them listening for like 10 mins where they pull her away under 1 min when I talk. He can do the stuff like didn’t I see you yesterday and pull it into a convo I do the same line doesn’t work. I feel like some of this pickup stuff is natural talent (besides the look part). Im saying some of the people here are prob like autistic (Im on the spectrum) and convos are just awkward in general with everyone. I’m always solo at bars so feel like Imma get banned a few places for being creepy but F it gunna try gunna look at dif openers first and practice tho, I have zero interest in talking to people I’m not attracted to for practice I’m just going to grow a pair and talk to the hottest ones at the bars wish me luck.

I think the important thing is that you say something. Doesn’t have to be clever or witty.
Just say anything and conversation will happen naturally if they’re interested.
I think asking for directions is good because you can take the conversation elsewhere. You could ask things like “Btw, do you know any … shops here as well?”

Here’s the truth, most people including yourself make it up to be bigger than it is in your head, it really comes down to this, put your focus on just talking, not setting a goal of “oh I have to do this or that” Just talk to them, see where it goes, it’s not weird, to be honest the fucked up part is the social conditioning and brainwashing to make people think it’s weird, when it’s not, everyone loves it, people love to meet people, we’re people, we like to make relationships, you did great, you saw how easy it is, so moving forward out your focus on just talking to people every day.
