I think poor physical escalation on your end is the biggest issue you should address first. Read up on how to escalate properly. That said, I think she also didn't like you. She liked chatting with you over text but the in-person chemistry was off. This could be for many reasons, including just a mismatch. But you can only solve one problem at a time, and physical escalation is your biggest problem you should address first. The quick breakdown:

Start escalating right from the start of the date.
From casual to romantic to sexual
Two steps forwards, one step back. Take breaks where you back off to leave her wanting more before continuing.
As long as she seems comfortable, continue escalating. If she seems uncomfortable, back off for a bit, then start the escalation from the beginning with casual touching.
If she turns her cheek, you ask her if it was too soon or how she feels. Get information regarding why she rejected your kiss. Not in a demanding or pushy way, but in a "I'm curious to understand you and I don't want to cross your boundaries" kind of way. Take more time, start escalation ladder from the beginning again, and try for a kiss a bit later if she seems comfortable with all the steps prior. In 50% of cases or so (my experience) you can kiss the girl later on the date if she rejects you the first time, provided you didn't wait until the end of the date to try the first attempt.

A date that doesn't have any kissing or sex is best categorized as a bad date. You should lower your expectations regarding the potential of it turning into something more when there's no physical intimacy.

Your second biggest problem next to poor escalation is emotional over-investment. You got wayyy too invested in this girl especially considering you haven't even kissed. You went all in on a stock that didn't look promising. This over-investment emotionally can affect your behavior on the date and make you seem nervous, insecure, needy, desperate and so on. All qualities women generally consider unattractive. The fact that you were so devastated that these lousy dates never went anywhere is indicating your overinvestment.

Yeah, based on your description of the date it seems clear there was no real sexual chemistry between you two. Those dates sound full in terms of romance, they feel more like a hang out between friends than a real date. No flirting, no touching, not kissing, and barely any talking.

I will make a few general comments instead of all the specifics (like her music/hum comment, siblings comment etc).

Others said these points very well. But IMO you came across as boring to her and there wasn’t any escalation, so you come across as a friend but worst since you’re being needy. You have to go outside your comfort zone a little bit and flirt with her. Compliment what she’s wearing, you do this by noticing something she put effort into.

Physically escalate in a non-creepy way, it should break the touch barrier. Start light and then try to go for a kiss. She will let you know if she isn’t into it and then stop if so. Sometimes they can reject you for a kiss and kiss you later that night so act cool if rejected.

You are overly needy. You’re texting her paragraphs and explaining a lot of things. That signals low value, low confidence and you’re putting your entire cards on the table. There is nothing about you to figure out. You’re boring to her and almost nothing makes a woman lose interest in you quicker than coming across as being needy.

Nobody can tell you exactly what you did wrong because we weren't there, but it sounds like the following:

1) You let her take the lead on dates and set the emotional frame. You were nervous, so you didn't take the conversation anywhere interesting and deep. For example, when she sighed and said "I have a sister" you were too scared to continue the conversation. If you are gonna be scared to take the conversation interesting places, your dates will be boring and colorless. You bored the shit out of her, bro.

2) You acted too needy, especially at the end. You were probably being needy on the dates too and making her feel crowded.

3) You probably acted low confidence and like you were "beneath" her.
