Honestly. Find a sales job. Even if its an inside sales job, making cold calls the amount of new sets you'll open is insane. Being in sales has allowed me to have very minimal AA.

Go to the Mall, all the Malls near you, apply for a job at a retail store.

Apply to store that sells stuff that you are NOT interested on, so that you can concentrate on the people and your skills, not the shit that you sell.

Seriously, I worked at the movies for two years and got a bunch of chicks (for me at the time). The best part about it is occasionally I will run into another HB I worked at the theatre will show up. And nine times out of ten times she's dtf.

This HB 10 (She was a model) I worked with had Butts as her last name. I called her by that for almost the entire time I worked there. (1.5 years). About four months before I quit I just started calling her by her first name. She ate that shit up, wanted to buy me dinner and all that. Too bad she moved to Texas before I could do anything about it.

Honestly, if I hadn't gotten a job at the movies I would probably be a total neckbeard right now.

Commenting to remember to check this later when other people answer. I'm in the same boat as you ATM as there aren't too many people to meet when working at your dad's mechanic shop. I'm thinking of trying some local hardware stores as it should be easy to get a job as I have experience working on shit or if that fails (which it won't) maybe a fast food chain or restaurant as people gotta eat so it should provide plenty of people to meet. What did you do for freelance work? I would recommend trying to find something that you have at least a little experience in as it would make it easier to meet others as you won't have to focus on learning a completely new job.

I worked valet on the weekends for years. Its amazing how much more social it made me. My bosses moto was "kill them with kindness" eg be talkative , polite and funny (repeat the same stolen jokes and youll be fine).

Be a doorman at a nightclub/bar. Choose a place with the customer base consisting with the type of people you are interested in getting to know. It is the best opportunity I have found to meet loads of people and learn to start up conversations with anyone about anything.

Family Video. You'll be encouraged to dress well and greet everyone who comes in. There's something obvious to talk about and you get to meet people who are looking for stuff to do on evenings and weekends. Also, it's not bad for meeting girls who aren't old enough for bars and moms that can't.

Some I can think of:

Sales Associate or assistant manager at a mall department store. You meet tons of people and you're required to greet costumers. They tend to hire more now because of the season. Only problem is shit pay and that they mostly hire young decent looking people.

Maybe also a waiter or bartender.

I have a side business but I depend more on my full time job for my source of income.

I was going to ask this question yesterday! Good ideas. I'd go for one of the more 'fun' ones. Cold sales calls would be OK but something like bar tending or mall kiosk would be more fun and casual.

I work at a high end grocery store as a cashier and one of the people who stands at the customer service desk. This is great because it forces interaction no matter what. I have conversations about peoples lives not just the products within the store.

It even gives you a chance for a #-close. I got one just last week

Pretty much any job will work. I worked at a movie theater in college and it definitely helped my social skills. Looking attractive women in the eye and making small talk about movies while they wait for their food is a great way to build confidence.
