For me personally, my dating life drastically improved once I got off the apps. I saw that once I forced myself to only be able to go after girls if it’s in person, it got rid of a lot of my approach anxiety. For me, the apps were a real crutch to not do cold approach, and I see the same thing in other men who are too scared to approach

Tbf i don’t really approach women in person it’s all on apps. Seeing a few girls atm by doing this. I find it easier when you know they’re attracted to you, because I don’t have to build anything

I’m an advocate of using multiple sources in order to maximize your results. Just like you have to message a bunch of women on the apps, you have to cold approach hundreds if not thousands of women in order to have “successes” so no don’t get off the apps. Use cold approach and apps as well.

I would say for me at this moment i am 5’11 but I haven’t worked on myself as well I could. Im overweight and I have a startup business. That im just now starting to make some coin in. But here’s the thing. While you guys are fiddling on the apps i can go outside approach those same 100 women in a week you messaged and end up sleeping 2-4 of them while most of you guys sleep with none, or just settle with a whale.

I say two reasons why I’m able to do that…. I have literally thousands of cold approaches under my belt so I know when I can detect a hint of interest and how to exploit it. 2nd reason I’m able to get those girls and sometimes punch way above my weight class is men do not approach at all. Let’s face rejection hurts alot and men just dont want to face it in todays world, they’d rather experience it behind a computer screen. For example lot of men today see a girl they like go home and dm or Snapchat her trying to get her on a date because they were too pussy to say what they wanted in public.

There’s too much traffic on dating apps you’ll stand out if you have enough courage to approach.

But everything starts with you becoming the most attractive man you possibly can be. So if you aren’t inshape don’t even worry about women for the time being. But when you’re ready make the best profile you can make, the best pro pics as well as cold approach. All sources not one vs the other

Yes, went up to a girl I thought was really hot in the middle of uni complete stranger in the middle of the lib been dating for 4 years. Straight up I’m a 6/10 at best and she’s easy a 10/10. You will not get gorgeous girls on dating apps unless you look like a 6ft 6 giga chad

I see posts like this and I'm reminded I'm lacking in this area. I'm excited at the thought of having real life interactions even if it's a momentary thing but it's a small place here so I'd rather travel an hour away not to build a reputation of have an awkward interaction give me anxiety

I’ve actually not done this but I can say that anything is better than using the apps. They were fine 5+ years ago but lately it’s a crapshoot. I’m still living with family, plus there’s some personal changes I’d like to take make so I’m not in too much of a rush to practice the cold approach. But I would 100% recommend it

Don't get off the apps. New age of dating is apps and social media. Unfortunately this is how it is, and will continue to be. So you need to maximize your profile and looks. There are ton of resources on youtube you can look at. But no, I doubt people that start approaching IRL get much better results from OLD.

Even if you don’t have an app, you’re still competing with men on them. Why would you limit yourself and not use a resource that helps you make women?

I had this conversation with my FWB this past weekend (we are non exclusive). She and I both play around with Bumble but it’s more about something to do when bored and neither she nor I are looking for anything “serious” or “long term” so it’s probably is who are fucking with people out there. We both literally just find hook ups when we are in the mood and mostly don’t even answer people.

Dating apps can be useful. Can you get play from them? Sure. Can you get a meaningful relationship from them? Sure.

Ultimately, they're trash in the long run.

It requires you to discount yourself for a condensed pool of not as attractive women and give them an incredible amount of power and control that they wouldn't otherwise have.

Men significantly outnumber women on dating apps. So, you're competing with a large amount of men for a small amount of women. These women have 100s of matches within mere minutes of signing up, no matter if they're hot, cute, average, or even slightly below.

...and you don't unless you are in the top tier of looks.

So, unless you're confident in your chances of standing out amongst 100s of men at the same time, you are wasting your time and you will meet better women consistently by chance and have higher odds of those encounters being meaningful.

Dawg it lets the whole thing begin. The apps a superficial. I use them to practice but I try and send less than 10 messages before a meet up. More than that, and I’ll usually fuck it up by saying something dumb. Meet in person and you’re more free to be yourself because people are more forgiving in person

it’s all about perspective imo. ppl tend to see the apps as a bad thing because of the way they use it. If your using apps to follow a bunch of random girls & not talk to them, that may be draining & damaging your mental in various ways. On the other hand if you clean up your feed with people or businesses that provide value / teaches you something that will help… it’s all about the way you utilize it… remove the content that provide no value to your life is my advice & see how you change

By most accounts, I'm a handsome guy. Even if women don't want to date me, a lot of women find me attractive. However, I have not had much success with dating apps. In person though, I am rarely turned down. Things may not go anywhere everytime but it is pretty easy to get numbers. Dating apps can't account for my confidence and swagger that I exude in person. A few tips.

1) Find your confidence. You have to walk in the bar/club/room like you own it. Head held high like you are royalty. How do you get there? Get in shape and work on your style. Be bold with your clothes. Your clothes can tell people things about your personality. Women like bold. And by the way, it can take some time to develop the confidence I am speaking of. But you will know you have it because you will have eyes on you when you enter the room. Guys and girls.

2) Always smell nice and have fresh breath. Always have gum or mints on you.

3) Don't use pick up lines.

4) Think of something charming that relates to the current situation. Like if you walk up to the bar say "Should I get this drink or that drink?" to the girl standing beside you.

5) Even if you do all of the above, understand that some women will just not be attracted to you. Even the best looking men on Earth have been turned down by someone.

6) Just have fun. If you get turned down, who cares? Turn it into a fun game. Once you have been turned down a few times, you really don't care anymore.

Getting off the apps forced me to get back out there and meet people in real life. I don’t want to jinx myself but, because of going out again, I met a new guy who I really like and am compatible with. So I’m feeling hopeful again.

Dating apps are a waste of time. When I got off them, I stopped caring about dating at all and focused on my career and hobbies. Joined a few social groups and started to meet interesting people there and having conversations irl...I don't do cold approaches anymore, success rate is almost zero..not worth the time and effort.
