I went on a couple of dates with the front desk girl at one of the gyms I used to go to. My advice is to slow play it, start with a joke one day when its convenient. I made a joke at the water fountain, she was in front of me and I was behind her waiting to drink, I looked at my wrist like I was watching a watch but I wasnt even wearing a watch. We laughed then parted ways, the next time I saw her I introduced myself and had a short convo. Another day I asked her out.

One of my exes I met from the gym. We loosely acknowledged each other over the span of a few months, just because we always happened to be at the gym around the same time.

Kinda just ended up being a coincidence, she was finishing up using the squat rack while I was going to use it next. I asked how many sets she had left, she said 2, so I figured I’d just warm up there until she was done.

Since there was a bit of time, we started to chat a bit, talked about hobbies outside of the gym, etc. She mentioned that she worked at a coffee shop, and I brought up I used to work at a coffee shop back in college.

We bantered a bit further about our now “mutual interest” of coffee. We also spoke about our workout programs some. She finished up, I took over the squat rack, and mentioned that we should grab a cup of coffee from a place we both knew and both really liked.

She agreed, we met up next week, and dated for about 5 months. It was a fun little fling, but our interests over time took us in different directions (she wanted to go into nursing, I was between undergrad & grad school) so we parted ways amicably.

I guess the point is you don’t need to do something special to pick up a gym girl.

If you ask me, it's like anywhere else. I'm friendly and outgoing, tend to naturally scan whatever space I'm in and make eye contact with people. Over time you recognize when people are checking you out or want to be approached. I've trained myself to be outgoing so (if it's a place I go to frequently like a gym) I'll start slow, knowing I'll likely see them again.

One day I might nod at them in acknowledgement, the next I might say something inoccuous "working hard today!" whatever dumb comment. In no time you can become friendly with people and from there I just feel out whether or not I like them and want to take it further to asking them out, otherwise it never hurts to know people.

I guess the biggest worry for moat is the aftermath of a rejection at a gym you actually love going to. What happens next coz you'll definitely be meeting again numerous times. Is she going to put in a complaint about you and or spread rumors.?

slow play be be sure if your dating someone from the gym not to hit on other girls because people talk imo its not worth the ROI .. unless your ready to settle down

A boy this was made for me. Not only did I work at the gym, but I was also a gym head. With that being said, I was pretty knowledgeable when it came to anything gym related. The main ways that I’ve gotten with hot gym girls, were by being knowledgeable - either help someone out when I see they’re doing something wrong, or inviting girls that I’ve met through apps like Instagram and such to work out/train. Despite working at the gym, I never mess with anyone at my work location. Instead I go to nearby ones to do my magic lol. I never intentionally approach them, but rather just focus on myself and let the opportunities come to me. It was getting to a point where I was meeting and messing with 2-3 new gym baes a week. Been with my girl 5 years now - met her at LA Fitness
