I've never had game. None. I've only been with women because I'm reasonably good looking and I've waited for them to approach me. This usually yields nothing higher than a HB5, although there have been a few joyous exceptions. Long time redditor, but have never visited this seddit before today. (yes this is a different account)

TL/DR - I read seddit non-stop, went to coffee shop today and approached an HB7, joined her at her table, and had a great conversation. The problem was that I only had about 10 minutes before I had to leave. I made a few minor negs, for the first time in my life, chiding her about her fur hat, (which was faux) etc.

I think my fail was asking for her number before I left, after just 10 minutes of talking to her. Part of my courage came from catching her looking at me and smiling moments before I approached the table.

After I announced that I was leaving, I asked for her number, to which she replied 'I don't give that out', but I'll take yours, maybe' She pulled out a piece of paper and wrote it down and I certainly don't expect to hear from her, but I feel 100x better than if I had NOT acted and it was a great warm up for later tonight.

Looking back - were there any other things I should have done? I know asking for her number after only talking for 10 minutes is perhaps not the best, but I really did have to go.

Anyway, I wasn't impacted by the 'rejection' at all, and instead, feel empowered and confident. Thanks to all the Seddit contributers!
