''Being too logical/boring.''question on the post “3 Worst Texting Mistakes Guys Make On Dating Apps ”.

I've read tons of books, watched videos on relationships. From this I concluded that the main skill is confidence (don't think for the girl, say what you think, you're the prize blah blah ). Since I live in a country where I can not speak properly in their language, I try to play at least by texting, but I suck.
because you're asking questions of a girl. She is weakly interested, answers in one sentence, zero emotions, and most importantly, she does not ask questions in response.

I try not to turn communication into an interview, I ask occasionally “emotional question” did you like?, to questions sometimes briefly trying to tell something to at least something about me. Trying not to be needy and stuff.

It's a bunch of crap. I don't understand what else I should read or watch.

So the question is about “Texting Mistake 3: Being too logical/boring.” I'm too logical (there's a reason I've read and watched so many “instructions”) I don't understand how to think with emotions and stuff like that. I'm good at flirting when the topic of conversation boils down to a topic in which I've already successfully joked, flirted, or written something out to my knowledge base of jokes/emotional issues.

Any recommendations? Maybe a new book :) Maybe links to old posts?
