If she asks you for something it’s feigned interest. For example: You are handsome, by the way can you buy me a drink. So as soon as someone asks you for favours, or for things, you know she is not genuinely interested

I say I only buy drinks for girls who I go on dates with. i would never buy drinks at first encounter.

I did buy drinks once at a free bar works do. I got random girls cocktails lol.

It’s one thing to make an offer as you meet someone new and want to get to know them. As a gentleman, you may offer a lady a drink or invite her to lunch, all appropriate within your financial means and comfort level.

It’s something else when you meet someone in public who, with minimal hesitation, requests you reach for your wallet. This goes for the beggars at the freeway off-ramps as well as women seated at a bar. Your generosity in these instances is generally absent of remarkable gratitude but can rapidly become a “worst-case scenario” educational experience.

FWIW: if you do buy a lady a drink at a bar, do NOT put it on at tab. I’ve heard many stories of guys who have run a tab, put ONE drink for a gal at the bar, and discovered when cashing out they owed substantially more than they actually drank.

Don't buy stuff for people you're not already dating.

You don't owe her compensation for her time to figure out if she wants to date you or not.

Once you are dating, you still don't owe her compensation for her time, but it becomes a nice gesture to show her you value her. She should be making nice gestures like that towards you too, either by paying for your drinks too, or in other ways if there's a large income difference between you.

The only reason you would pay for a drink on a first meet is if your finances are such that you really truly don't give a fuck about the price of a drink and don't mind finding out that that's all a girl was after by having paid for it.

if she’s asking you to buy her a drink, it’s feigned. if your buying a girl a drink before you’ve made some decent connection with her, your wasting your time and money. Even if she swears “it’s her birrrrrfdayyy”

Never ever buy a girl anything if she’s not dating you. Thats one of the first natural filters you can put up

Most women you buy a drink for will not be interested in you and they will just collect free stuff.

It is pretty rare I think so not something I would worry about much.

I would overall keep it simple and just not do things you don't want to do - like buy girls stuff. I feel like girl's also will like touch your arm a bit slowly when letting a guy down or asking for something. But when they like you they touch you more quickly, sort of excited/nervous.

But that is the sort of thing that could lead to overthinking. The simple answer: Don't buy her stuff.

Superficial responses like ‘oh really’ ‘is that so’ ‘huh’. Let’s the conversation or interest die without questions. If they’re interested they’ll ask more specific questions e.g. your job, what kind of hours do you do? Do you enjoy it? What are little things that make you happy? Like. It doesn’t take much to be interested in what other people enjoy. Casual nuances are not clear indications. She wasn’t the one my guy, chin up

So, never buy drinks for a woman when you are at a bar. That's a rookie mistake. Women will demonstrate that they are interested with their actions. You can not necessarily listen to what they say, because women communicate with men indirectly. If a girl is interested (in a bar setting) she will give you IOIs (indicator of interest)

She will be asking you multiple questions back, getting close so you can get physical, laughing at your bad jokes, alluding to a future together (there's tons of things she could do). Just stop buying women drinks.

I Promise you that you do not need to buy women drinks for them to want to sleep with you. If you have good game, you can literally get women to buy YOU drinks. Women literally sleep with guys in the bathroom bar and / or go home with them on the same night and those dudes are not buying them drinks, trust me.

A good rule of thumb to follow is to always trust your gut: if you don't think she's interested, she's not. It's all good though, you just bought a girl one drink.
