How do you get motivated to keep going when you've failed so much in the past?

I think of it this way. If I don't try, I'm going playing a game of league of legends and Jerking off every Friday night. 0% chance to get laid or meet someone that could upgrade my life.

If I try and fail, I'll play a game and jerk off.

But if I succeed, which now has a chance of happening... Well I'm better off for doing so.

So unless you're content with you're life as it is right now, you have to try. If you want something new, you have to try something new.

OP we've all been there, full of self pity and negativity. We ended up with a few weekends of our same old routine that left us feeling lackluster and miserable. Something has to change. Begin by always trying, every chance you get. A quick failure will lead to an even quicker success.

Any skilled PUA will let it roll off his back if 4 numbers don't pan out or 3 girls don't work out.

It really is a numbers game.

The best PUA in the world get 6-10% maximum for cold approach. that means you need at least 20-30 girls before you can even consider yourself to be failing, and even then you are comparing yourself to the best in the world.

You are just giving yourself easy excuses so you don't have to fail, and you need to stop it if you want to improve.

You motivate YOURSELF by making a plan and sticking with it. Maybe you agree to do 3 approaches a day, or maybe you give your buddy $300 and you can only get it back $20 at a time for each girl you open and get in set with.

Get leverage on yourself... have a trip coming up? Make a rule so you can only go if you are out there talking to women.

You need to make the decision that regardless of how much it sucks or you get rejected, you know it is a path towards where you want to be and a way to meet new and interesting women.

Rejection isn't personal. It's just a no, it doesn't mean "if it was another guy I'd have said yes!" Don't take it too seriously or harshly.
4 girls is literally nothing. I can't even count how many girls I've approached now. Hundreds and hundreds for sure.
Watch "seconds", in the all time top posts (title of post is something like : this is why you should say hi, incredible short film. Can't link it, I'm on my phone). It's a 2 minutes video about a guy, thinking about approaching a girl and imagine everything that happens after that. Wedding etc. Then he doesn't. Think about all you might be missing if you don't approach that one. Or this one too. Or will it be that one over there?

There's a reason they call it the game, it's a game. You have to actually enjoy being rejected, laugh at it, it's funny, often times you might even just act like a total retard when approaching a girl for the fun of it, and often times that works out even better than a serious approach.

Just realize that while getting rejected, you are also learning alot. You are approaching women and that takes some courage! I know too many that never even tried.

The same way you get motivated to do anything, stop thinking about it and just do it. The results after a couple months will be reason enough to continue, but you have to work hard, give this shit your all and the results will happen.
