Tell her to text you when she gets home if she likes you she will. If you drop her off I'm just let her know you get home and you had a good time. If she likes you she will respond quick.

Depends. I don't text too much normally. If we had sex, I usually text something the next day. Unless it was just for sex, and it was known by both sides. But, for example, I dated a woman once. She was hilarious. We joked about everything during the first date. Even when I was just on my way home, she texted me. She sent me a photo of me that she took from behind. I had sat on some wet ground, so my two ass cheeks were wet and it looked kinda funny. We just kept texting after that.

Your instincts are right. If texting too much has backfired on you before, that's your answer right there.

After a first date, less is almost always more. A simple "had fun tonight, get home safe" that night is fine. Then give it a day or two of space before you reach out to set up date two. That's really all you need.

The mistake most guys make is they have a great first date and then try to keep the momentum going through text. But text doesn't build attraction the same way face to face does. What it CAN do is kill the anticipation she's feeling between dates. If she's thinking about you and wondering when you'll text, that's a good thing. Don't interrupt that by blowing up her phone.

When you do text to set up date two, keep it light. Reference something specific from the date (an inside joke, something she mentioned wanting to try, etc.) and use that to transition into the next plan. That shows you were paying attention without being needy about it.

As far as when to text more frequently, let her set that pace. If she starts initiating more, sending you random stuff during the day, asking you questions... match that energy. But don't be the one who escalates the texting volume. Save the good stuff for in person.

If the date ended in sex i’ll usually text something the next day so she doesn’t think i only used her for sex.

If the date didn’t end in sex, I’m in no rush to text her again, if ever. If she’s not really into me it’s usually not worth the trouble when I have other women showing me more interest. Your next text should be more about vibing than asking her out again. I’m a big fan of quick phone calls too.

Good that you had a successful first date. Just don’t get too excited that you get carried away. That’s what some guys did wrong.

Yes it was a good date. But don’t treat her like you’ve been together for years. Like texting her multiple times a day just because you’re bored. Or asking her opinions on philosophical/political stuff. If you’re bored or got nothing to do just talk to your friends or go out with them.

You text her as much as or as little as you want, not because you should, but because you want to and want someone who is on the same page as you.

So if you text very often then do it because you actually feel naturally like saying something regardless of the result, not because you hope that frequency will guarantee a result.

If you text very little do it because you don't naturally feel like saying more than that, and don't care if that makes her react one way or the other.

Stop doing what you should (because there are no shoulds) and do what you want, without caring what result it has and prioritize compatibility and being on the same page over trying to force an outcome because the outcome is ultimately not in your control and what you do with one girl will not necessarily work with another girl.

Test it by texting statements. No questions. I mean if you both like eachother there's no set rule. Just dont text too much or double text. You have to alwsy give off the energy that you'll be fine if she doesn't text back

Regardless, you said “text” 99 times, so you definitely need to be more “Logistics/In Person” focused and a lot less “text/chat” focused — You should not be aimlessly running your mouth at this point (or at any point for that matter.)

Tell her to bring her favorite wine/dessert.

Say something like "text me when you're home", it's a way to get her to text you and most importantly she'll think you care about her safety, win-win
