If you are basing your self-worth on professional success you are self-sabotaging

Once again I observed the musician on the street leaving with two girls who flirted him while he was singing.

He is in his 30s. He will never be more famous or rich than he is now. Playing music on the street, no insurance, probably will never be able to feed a family.

Seduction has nothing to do with success or money. It has to do with unreasonable self-confidence. An innate alpha arrogance tempered by charm and social skills.

This is why artists, bar tenders and other broke guys slay with the girls.

I feel a lot of us are tricked into single-mindedly pursuing good grades and careers and becoming providers, and base our sense of self-worth on achievements, only to see the years go by while we remain unnoticed by women.
