I used to have a FWB that I refused to even consider a relationship with, and when I first sensed that she caught feelings I failed to do the right thing and end the arrangement. Instead, I created an abandonment complex on purpose to keep her coming back, I would bareback yet I wouldn't even speak to her outside the bedroom or take her on dates or even get to know her better. I do not condone using abandonment to keep a girl coming back. She should want to come back for the man that you are, whatever your intent with her. My judgement was clouded because she deep throated the first night and had a tight gripping pussy.

Projection does exist and happens for a ton of guys. Its definitely a nice crutch to get guys to take risks but it's super short term.

I think it's much better to focus on what you want and to communicate it plainly than focus on what the woman wants. The idea of "She was asking for it " is suboptimal thinking in general. It's not only possible, it's very pervasive when you're starting out on this journey. Maybe not for your particular example, but I encounter 40 - 50 year old men AND women that still haven't registered that were born wired very differently, and have very different needs.

Treat others how you want to be treated is very wrong when applied to male-female dynamics.

Read and write more on the topic and you'll start to see the gap.
