Hi everyone, let me introduce myself. I'm Kelley. I'm 21, part time worker, full time student, longtime poster here and on some of the other PUA forums. I started getting involved in the community when I was 15 and since then I've become a completely different person. I'm by no means an expert when it comes to being a PUA but I think I have some insight that might help some of you on the sub. I want to do a few posts about some of my observations and techniques I've found that work but I figure I'll start here with some things that everyone can do RIGHT NOW to get shit started. These are just going to be things to get you looking and feeling better, and get you into the right state of mind. Start small right?

 

So first I'll start with the common things to improve your looks that everyone has probably heard before but probably the most important:

 

-Hit the gym. Seriously. Immediately you'll start feeling better, soon you'll start looking better, and there’s plenty of people at the gym to help expand your social circle. There’s a ton of opportunities to talk to people from just small talk to asking for a spot. If you don't know where to get started check out /r/fitness. They've got plenty of routines and diet plans to get started. This is probably the most important

-Hygiene. Brush your teeth, comb your hair, wash your face, trim your beard. Start wearing cologne.

-Tan (if you're white). Get your pasty ass out into the sunlight you fucking vampire. Put on some sunblock so you don't burn, and try to get outside for about an hour a day. In a week you'll look so much better

 

So that’s all the simple shit and honestly, you've probably already heard all that before but it all needed to be said. Here are some things you may not have heard before:

 

-Get your eyebrows threaded. Okay, I know what you're thinking - "That’s gay/That’s weird/That’s for chicks". Fuck all that. I've gotten plenty of compliments on my eyebrows because that’s something girls really notice. I guarantee there’s a threading place near you, and most cost less than $10 and take less than ten minutes. Just pop in, say you don't want them shaped, just cleaned up, and let them do the rest. Don't feel self conscious about it - they get plenty of male clients and honestly don't give a shit.

-Get your teeth whitened. Nothing better than a shiny smile. You can get a whitening kit at CVS for like $35 dollars

-Drink more water. Your skin will look better, you'll feel better, your breath will smell better. Make water your bottom bitch.

 

And finally, things you can do to start getting into the right mindset.

 

  • When you wake up in the morning, try doing 15 pushups/sit-ups/etc. It'll help get you up and into a good mood for the day

  • Pick your favorite alpha male – be it an actor, character, athlete, celebrity, or PUA. Watch a clip of them before you go out – I’ve found that I tend to adopt some of their mannerisms afterward.

  • Meditate. Start with just five minutes a day. Look up a beginner’s meditation tutorial if you don’t know where to start. It’ll really help clear your mind – more than you think

 

I know this was pretty elementary but I felt I should start with the basics. Let me know what you guys think.
