I'm a barista at a coffee shop in a fairly small city and I wonder this all the time. Tons of hot girls come in, alone or in groups and most of them are from local colleges or just from around town and I see them day after day and talk to a lot of them.

Honestly the best way to "hit on" anyone, regardless of your location or what you're doing is to just talk to them and show some honest interest in them as a person and not as woman or sexual object (not saying you are).

My opening line is easy because I have to interact with these women since I need to take their order, if they are a regular I politely preempt them by asking if they want their regular drink, and then once they see I've been paying attention to what they've said in the past they are receptive to my inquiries about their day, their life, bullshit like that.

Seriously talk to anyone and everyone you are attracted to, but just be a normal human being and talk to them like you would a friend, it's very attractive, and professional since you are basically just conversing with them. If any seem very interested in you maybe try asking them out in person, just don't be ham handed and don't rush to conclusions.

Very sorry about the long post, it's just an issue I've dealt with myself for a while since I became a barista.

TL:DR just strike up normal conversations with women at your pool and if any seem interested ask them out in person. Additionally I wouldn't go for numbers since that will make you look like you just hit on anyone. Even if you do, just go for the asking them out in person as it's classier.

Just flirt with them, but don't be over direct/aggressive... your teethering a fine line here. You need to play off of their energy and how receptive they are. I would probably only go for it if she's really into you (aka not just being nice, because you are in a professional interaction), otherwise, you risk your job lol

So I work at a pool and everyday there are lots of stunning girls from out of town that come. What is the best way to hit in them while still being professional!?

Firstly, the question of "is seducing at work acceptable?" does not have a yes or no answer. It's on a case by case basis. Things to consider:

Are you incapable of dating without leaving behind a mess or without making a mess during the dating process? If so, then you shouldn't date at work.
Do you often find yourself dating crazy and/or unstable people? If so, then you shouldn't date at work.
Is this job really important to you? If so, then you may not wish to risk it at all.

Secondly, you should always be "hitting on" someone in a way that's calibrating/adjustable to the situation. You adapt to the situation: don't use a one-size-fits-all approach. Because seduction involves 2 people. Not just a guy doing things to a girl. The situation and girl can be different every time. So there is a good mindset but there is not a "best way" go go about it. The mindset involves you paying close attention to the girl. Active listening, not just running through what you want to say.

And there may not be an opening for a girl that you can take while still being professional. Not unless the girl is into it, in which case, she'll give you an opportunity.

Example: Say you work at a hotel. You won't really have a way to hit on a girl unless she helps you. Say a girl checks in and she's there for business. So formal, etc. You open her. Have some playful banter. Maybe you hit it off. In that case, she knows your situation and she'll do little things to show you an opening. Like ask what you're doing after work. Or like asking what you like to do for fun, etc.

Be on the lookout for girls trying to facilitate something happening......

The problem with these posts is this.

Everyone will tell you not to, having done it themselves (Thinking with their dicks).

But, ya know, the truth is, sometimes drama happens, sometimes you get your dick wet, sometimes both ... and forbidden sex is the hottest sex. Worst case scenario, you get fired and life moves on.

Nevertheless, even granting that it's a horrible idea, anyone who even ASKS this question, which is often, has already made up their mind to "go for it" anyway and just wants justification.

Coworkers can become a problem because drama being broadcasted can cause disruptions in the work place and angry bosses. With customers can only be a problem if your specific job specifies that you not pursue them, or if the jilted customer complains about sexual harassment. Sexual harassment overall is a rough line to tread, and requires knowing your coworker and that it wouldn't be a problem with light flirting etc, or not being too forward/handsy with customers. To dance the dance of workplace fun learn the comfort zones and poke at them. Coming from a guy whos flirted heavily at every job hes had, from retail to food service with customers and coworkers alike and never had a complaint, people like to flirt, it feels good and empowering. So long as you don't come off as a creep you should be fine

The first rule to avoid angering women you sleep with, at work or anywhere, is that anyone worth fucking is worth fucking thrice. Never just hook up and dump immediately. If you sleep with a girl, and then immediately want nothing to do with her, it's almost always bound to hurt her feelings. Then their justifying female brains start to come up with excuses to excuse her slutty one night stand. "He manipulated and just used me for sex." "That guy is a player and a predator." "I was too drunk and he took advantage." Be kind, always document your exploits with flirtatious texts, and fuck them at least three times if they are willing. Then it's no longer a slutty one night stand. It was a burgeoning mini relationship that just didn't work out. And if they accuse you of anything improper, you have all the flirtatious texts and repeat performances to cover your ass. Plus sex tends to get better the more you have it so you should want to give them a few more rounds anyway.

I've managed to remain friendly with all but one of my exes. And the one I am not friendly with I simply politely text dumped walked away from cold and never spoke to again.

Generally in a bad break up, there's a point where the girl is yelling at you, insulting you, and doing everything she can to hurt you. This is the crucial point where lies the secret to remaining friendly and controlling the damage in the aftermath. Remain calm. Realize that she's just angry and nothing she says or has said really matters. Simply say something along the lines of, "I understand that you are mad at me. I'm sorry I hurt you. I want you to know that even though it isn't going to work out, that I have nothing but kind thoughts and respect for you. I want you to know that in spite of this mess, I'll always think of you as a friend."

Remaining calm and kind, is a bigger slap in the face than any insult you could possibly deliver, and will go along way towards civility afterwards. Give them the last word. You don't need it. And it'll smooth things over in the long run.

This is much more important when you break up in a working environment because you don't want a coworker actively undermining you.

Not going after a woman you are interested in just because she's a coworker is just another excuse to not go for what you want. Be the kind of guy who always goes for what you want. Just be friendly, flirty, and charming with everyone at work. Don't gossip and don't intentionally burn anyone that you work with and things should be fine.

Ok, so be ready to lose your job to drama. But if you're cool with that, I'd suggest being just friendly and flirty while you're working, and then try to set up an after-work hang out asap. Then you can start laying on the sexual energy and see how she vibes with it.

Don't get sexual while you're working though. It's just blue balling both of yall and will get you in trouble easier. Like, she can call your boss and say "this dude is being creepy" and get you fired. But she can't really get you fired by saying "this dude wants to hang out with me". Or "this dude got creepy when we were hanging out at the bar last night."
