You didn't say something to keep the conversation going. I hate it when I try to talk or text a girl and they don't leave me a room to keep going. For example, if you added something around the lines of, "I had a great time. We should do that again" to the end of what you wrote that would have given her something to reply to and it would have shown that you want to keep on talking to her. Right now you said last night was good but you didn't show intentions of having more of those times together again.

I wouldn't say more than two ha ha's but that's my personal opinion haha.

That's geekin dude, it's like the guy who laughs too hard if a girl makes a joke. Text game is hard bc it's just letters so I believe the emphasis should be on translating confidence, suaveness, and light heartedness as much as you can.

So you could've said "Was my pleasure but my angelic ass is sore from all that concrete. you totally owe me one."

Experienced PUA here: I used to struggle with my textgame for months until i realized the answer to this question..."What is the purpose/point of textgame?". Answer: To remind her why she liked you in the first place and to schedule a date. That's it! But learning HOW this is done takes some experimenting. The basic format/logic behind it is: 1) Make a unique comment referring to something you two only know about/talked about/flirted about. (Ex: I'm not an angel, just being me the indonesian artist".) 2) make her laugh by being a little random: (Ex: "Guess what...I've got a problem...There is a magic carpet floating outside my window wanting to take you and I on an adventure") 3) Once she is at the TOP peek of laughing, or texting back and forth or sending LONG messages then GET LOGICAL and ask for the date. 4) Don't settle for a "Sounds fun SOMETIME" get her to agree on a time and place. "Alright sounds good, tomorrow 7pm Best Ice Cream Ever. 5) Make sure you schedule the date near by your pad or hers, or another fun date activity because you want the date to be an adventure not just 15min coffee and bye. ;)

I would have said

"It was a blast, let's hang out again (set time and location)."

If she said you were kind or something, say "It was a blast, but don't get used to it! (insert flirty emoji)"

If she was willing to message you first then it means you fucked up big time buddy

I only text girls conversationally once I know them and stuff is a lot less up in the air. Otherwise I just use it to make plans.

Texting allows a little bit of thought. ...so think sexy and think funny.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with that reply. But have there been other cases when you have longer conversations and suddenly stop? I never text, except to setup dates; not even to tell them I had a great time after the first date. I let them do that, then I just reply "I had a great time too, it was great hanging out with you!" (if I did have a great time that is) or something like that and stop it there. I don't engage in conversations over text. A couple days later, I text them something like "Hey how's it going? when are you free this week, I really want to see you again". This works pretty much all the time. Anyway, my point is, don't have conversations over text; your text game should be not texting. Only text or call to setup definite dates, and only have real conversations in person.

EDIT:

After reading the other comments; yeah, to many "hahahahaha", I guess it makes you seem nervous / anxious? I don't know, I almost never "ha's" when texting, I just use =) or =P. Very occasionally I use ;).

I think the hahahahaha at the end really kills it. It's like saying hey as "heyyyyyyyy". It's over eager. Also, people get busy. Maybe someone doesn't text back because they don't want to get into a long conversation. Don't overthink it. Less is more. If texting is really bad, don't do it so much. Give them a call. If you have to, keep it simple.

Like instead of saying: "Haha it was, I'll sit on concrete pavement with you anytime hahahahaha"
you could say: "It was a pleasure." or "Anytime. It was fun."

If it was me it would be something like "You give me too much credit, you're good company. What are you up to now?". But I like to ask questions and keep the conversation headed in a certain direction. Learning about her day makes it easy to set plans. After a while you'll develop your own 'style' for what to text and when.

Don't use texting to get to know someone. Use it to make plans, work out details, but keep it short. You should always be too busy for long texting conversations. If you aren't "busy", you are doing it wrong.

No offence, but your statement made it seem like you weren't really serious about it. Instead of saying "Haha it was, I'll sit on concrete pavement with you anytime hahahahaha", you should have said "Would you like to sit on the concrete pavement with me again?" Answer their questions with questions to keep the conversation going. And also, don't add "haha" when you're saying something cheesy or flirting with someone.

You basically just said "hey". I would have said something like "oh, you don't remember. I asked a homeless guy to sit with you while I went get ice cream for us, got hungry on the way back, and ate yours. At least you're not mad. Whew, I felt so guilty"
