Jesus fuck do I hate peacocking. I honestly think it's so... ridiculous.

You want to know what will make you stand out? Be well dressed. And I don't just mean wear a nice shirt and some fucking designer jeans that you spent too much on because of the label they've got on the back, for fucks sake.

Get your shirts tailored, find jeans that fit you properly. In fact, fuck jeans, go out rocking some badass slacks because unless you're at a really high end night club, most people won't be wearing slacks. Keep the colors neutral/matching and then make the outfit pop with some interesting shoes, a nice watch, and/or a badass tie. Look fucking slick, for fuck's sake.

I went out the other night wearing a pastel pink oxford shirt, slim fit khakis, a blue Burberry tie, and a navy blue blazer. The shirt, pants, and jacket I've all had tailored to fit me perfectly. I got more attention than you can imagine. I was at a casual bar/club where most guys were in the standard night club uniform of dark jeans, striped, ill fitting dress shirt, and some shit shoes they bought from Aldo on sale for $35. I stood out in the best way possible. Not because I had some gimmicky shit hanging from my neck, but because I was one of the very few men there that really knew how to dress well. I received compliments all night from both men and women.

I just go out in clean, unassuming clothes. Jeans and a t-shirt, man. Save the suits and whatnot for formal occasions -- when I'm clubbing, I want to be prepared for the drunk asshole who tries to pick a fight with me because the girl he likes is showing me attention. And I'd much rather not get blood on my nice clothes.
