I actually wanted to make a post about this.

Everyone has a "type" and everyone has a "look". Movies and Tv have all influence us especially women the type of person they want to date or sexually into, shit for example how many guys into goth girls? This also why I seen tall skinny dudes that look like they never been in the sun or a rip off Kurt Cobain do pretty well. I seen a few top pickup coaches also touch on this. Find your stereotype and lean into it style wise and it would definitely benefit you.

Shit now that I think about it girls do this all the time lol

This is a good point. I used to know a Hungarian guy who came to the west and struggled to get a date despite being very good looking. He was ten years older than me but was asking me for advice because I knew the way things worked better in my country.

He was slightly above average height, extremely ripped and muscular and tattooed. Looked kind of like a Mexican gangster so kinda scary haha

But he would match with these girls on apps and then ask if they wanted to go for a walk in the park. I was like “man, they match with a guy that looks like you they probably want you to go over and fuck their brains out right away. I could probably get away with that romantic stuff because I’m tall skinny and kind of preppy looking. But they don’t expect it from you.”

so true. man you put this quite well, I've never been able to verbalise this.

Another thing I'd like to add to this conversation is to "dress for your body" not for what you want. So often I see fat pasty guys dressing like their favourite anime character, who's tall, lanky, asian and has beautiful female hair with sharp features. If you're a big fat white guy you can't pull that shit off, no matter how much you want to. You have to be realistic and dress with clothes that flatter your figure.

My archetype is tall and slim (when I'm good on my diet) so I have to dress with well fitting clothes that are a taller fit with tapered jeans to look good. Also I can't grow a beard worth dick so I clean shave every time I go out and rock the clean baby face with the fade. It works, when my diet is on point I can get alot of approaches. When I have a bad month of eating and look overly bloated, wear shit clothes that aren't fresh and don't get shaved I am not only invisible but I personally feel offensive lmao.

That's interesting advice. Not sure though if also applies to older dudes like myself. Finding my archetype with 37 might be a bit late but still worth a try. it is a very interesting thought though.

Interesting.

I was told many times in last year or two that i look like a boxer/fighter. I would also fit that archetype of boxer-military-athlete guy. I also do get attention from girls but since i have no game they lose interest. This archetype actually suits my personality good, bcs i actually live that lifestyle and not faking it but can't make best of it with women. I think they except something else based on my looks idk.

Any help? 😅😅

Hey op, I wanted to ask you a question pertaining to my archetype ,

I have a jock body type ( not that tall about 5.9”) but I’m muscley. Super outdoorsy, full beard & septum. So I guess i look a little punky( septum ) outdoorsy (beard and clothes usually ) & stocky. I’m more of a wine and diner but I’m wondering if I’m acting too feminine to pertain to my archetype. Do you have any advice ?

I know what you’re getting at here but not sure how to apply it.. people always tell me I look like Mac Miller. Even though I have a bushy beard and longer hair, I think it’s my eyes. Anyways, trying to figure out how to live that archetype can be hard. While I like his music, I don’t think talking about it a bunch is really my move. Maybe some Nike air forces would solidify it?

I didn't know what this meant until yesterday, after I read it. I'm a ginger 5 6 and from the south, I don't have a heavy accent but I have good manners and yes ma'am no sir kinda deal. So I went into the bank and right after work ( dirty boots, tile grout all over my shirt) very polite to the teller make her laugh and whatnot. Later that night she reached out to me over social media (ikr stalker like) and we've been talking. But looking back all the women who were naturally attracted to me seemed to be the responsible type like nurses, girls in the airforce bank tellers and what not good southern girls guess they're lookin for a good old boy. I wear it well. Looks like I'm getting me some cowboy boots
