I used to post to seddit for a while on my old, now defunct account (I doubt anyone would remember me), and I've been away from this sub reddit for about a half year. There was a lot of discussion about seddit either plateauing, or starting to slide, and I have to agree.

Tofu and Throwaway are gone, and so are the scores of other thoughtful posts, and FR's. I think one of the big problems is that there are huge numbers of "how do I bang this chick I see at my lecture/work/bus?" There are just too many damn posts from afc's trying to hit on one specific girl that they have seen over and over again.

My question is, should we start insta-downvoting shit like this? I mean, from a seduction point of view, working too hard and worrying too much about one lone girl is a fundamental flaw. The game isn't about making your neighbor love you. Perhaps we can curb these awful posts , and restore some quality to the community. It may be rough, but these afc's need to understand that they are never going to sleep with their best friend. This is not how seduction works, or is designed for.

So perhaps we should try to bury any questions pertaining to a single individual (except for FR's, of course). I'm aware that I kinda broke this rule with my last post a few days ago, but at least I know the terms and I believe that it contributes to the discussion.

And PS, what the hell happened that caused such an influx of people? Did seddit start advertising or something? It seems like most of the people in here should be from r/relationshipadvice....
