I been playing with the idea of how cold showers can improve your approaching skills. Think about it, there is a moment when you approach a woman where you have doubts. You second guess if you should approach her. You make up excuses.

The real problems with the approaching is the fear of the unknown and discomfort of doing something that can cause you discomfort (rejection, feeling embarrassed, etc).

You can kill this with a daily practice of taking cold showers.

There are tons of benefits to taking cold showers. I won't go into them, but I will highlight two main benefits that cold showers have that can help you approach women like a fearless and powerful being in a cool and calm manner. These two things are a clear mind and being in your body.

The moment you have to take a cold shower, the anxiety kicks in because, if you're like most people in developed countries with the luxury of having heated water in your home, you like taking warm or hot showers. They relax you and they're comfortable. When you shut off the hot water completely and have the cold water turned all the way up, you notice your heart pounding a little faster and those thoughts of bailing out will come to mind.

So here is where the training comes into play using cold showers. When you go into the bathroom, turn on the cold water all the way up. You want your mind to be clear. The only thing you have room for is action. So once you take your clothes off just hop in the shower without a single thought. Brrrrr!

Once you're in the shower, be in your body. Yes, it's cold as fuck, but what else do you feel? You'll notice you have a heightened awareness. Time starts to slow down. What's actually 1 minute will feel like 5. You'll notice that after a while, your body starts to warm up. You're cold, but warm at the same time.

The purpose of this exercise is not to torture you. You don't even need to take cold showers to replace hot showers. It's just something you can use as a tool. The goal is to clear your mind of thoughts and just take action. While you're "in the moment" of being in cold water, see how long you can stay in before it gets too intense. You want to let the water hit all parts of your body. This includes the genitals and other parts of your body that's very sensitive to cold temperature. For some, this is only a few seconds, for others, it may be just the idea of jumping in cold water that's the painful part. Once you are able to take immediate action, you'll see this transfer over to other parts of your life.

When you want to talk to that cute girl on your way to work, you'll notice that you're talking to her without even thinking about it. The fear of the unknown starts to dwindle. You knowingly jump into uncomfortable situations like very low water temperature. A quick rejection might be less intense than that! You're not so worried about the outcome. You are more focused on taking the quick action. Something amazing will happen. While you're talking to her, you're able to focus on her body language more instead of being in your head. You're more in your body. You're giving eye contact, you're more attentive to what she is saying without obsessing over things that aren't important.

If you take daily cold showers, with this mindset, you'll notice that you'll start to adapt to just taking immediate action on a subconscious level. Your brain will say "Oh, we see something that we are suppose to do and just take immediate action? Okay, I'll put that in the filing cabinet under "subconscious" and it will be available to you whenever you need it."
