The biggest mistake I see guys repeatedly do on dating-apps is the following. Avoid this trap if you want more success:

The Masculinity Trap: The idea that you have to look like a macho tough-guy in your pics. You need to appear like you're next in line to play James Bond or be a cast member in the next "Expendables" action movie. That means wear sunglasses, look tough and mean, and don't look into the camera (you're too cool for that). And of course throw in a shirtless pic in there showing off your six pack abs and big arms for good measure. You have a cigar, a nice beer, a big gun, the moose you just killed, or a cool car? Of course include it in the photo as this will help. The more macho, masculine, and cool you look - the better.

These images tend to perform very badly on average. It's better to look more warm, friendly, safe, and approachable - without entering into gay territory. But eye contact with the camera and a warm laugh or smile works very well for most guys.

Did you also fall for the Masculinity Trap? Might be time to reconsider your pics. Peace out!
