IMHO you can't score better than a 6-7 on Tinder even if you are good looking and have game. It's not difficult to understand that beautiful girls have many options, which means they don't rely on tinder to find someone. Same applies to guys with game. They feel so comfortable meeting women in the "real world" that they don't really need tinder. Tinder is the lazy guy's cure.

I've found the exact same thing to be true. The issue is that it's just so damn convenient to use the Internet. You can do it from the toilet, from your bed, while relaxing after work. Such little effort involved. Not to mention, swiping through and through and seeing pictures of all these different girls gives you the illusion of some type of fulfilment/satisfaction as if you were actually meeting them.

Approaching in real life, even though it's not, just seems to be infinitely more work. The reality is that it's not, and it's just almost infinitely more successful.

Dating apps/websites are something I really try to avoid. It really doesn't feel right to me to initiate a conversation only with words, without non-verbal communication. Moreover, I noticed that people who mainly rely on dating apps are less likely to approach a woman out of an app or a dating site.

Even though I've met with less than 5% of my matches, I would say I've had success with the Tinder app. Meeting and sealing the deal with women/girls in 4 different states, and 2 different countries.

Some Tips for anyone interested:

1.) Once you've matched up, spend as little time as possible messaging them through the App. Get their number & use whatsapp or any other messaging medium (Instagram DM, Snapchat) .

1.a) Most attractive girls/women are there to get their egos boosted, they are there to raise their self-esteem, so don't waste your time texting through the app as you'll be one of hundreds & you'll get nowhere fast.

1.b) Suggest a phone call! You can get a better sense of what they want, what they are really like and if there's an actual chance of you two meeting up.

2.) SKYPE!! They are there mostly out of curiosity, boredom, and to have some fun! They don't expect to find their soulmate, so have fun with it. No better way to solidify your chances of actually meeting than showing them you're a real person through video-chat.

3.) Delete the matches that don't respond!!! Not only will you save yourself from ruminating on rejection, but you'll also have time to focus on matches that might prove fruitful.

3.a) Attractive chicks whom play hard to get and aren't willing to give up their number are either already taken or busy with another guy. It certainly takes some conversation before getting their number, but make sure you draw the line somewhere. Edit: Spacing & added detail

Like most everything, that universe is a marketplace. There are a lot more buyers (men) than sellers (women), therefore the price goes up

Using dating apps means that you give those girls validation for nothing. Most of the girls on there are not quality girls. Go out and approach. That is the only decent way to get to know girls.

I find most of the time, girls use it as validation. Messaged a girl once, turned out she was in one of my Facebook car groups. We got to discussing stuff and she said she never meets up with anyone from the site. I asked why and she said "I dunno, I just never really wanted to." Then why would you be wasting your time creating a very quick, bullshit profile and waiting for guys to message you? Oh yeah, validation/attention.

In my experience, 95% of the people on them are not quality people. There is a reason they are there.

I also did a test recently. I used to put plain jane stuff in my profile, some interesting, mostly real. Me being me, but my good side. Got minimal responses.

Then I changed it up. Took some more interesting pictures, totally changed the wording to be a badass who has money, an interesting travel life, blah blah. I'm getting more and more into these things, but embellished a good bit. Even changed my height from 5'11" to 6'2".

The results have been nothing short of amazing. 50% response rates. Numbers. Even when the girl goes out with me, that's when I kick on the normal in-person stuff, which you can't fake. All works out. She never notices the height, or anything else. Works just fine.

It's just lame because you have to do that to get results. Or be a totoal badass, ripped, six pack, tons of money, nice car/bike to show off, and travel a ton. Not all of us can do all of that, although we should strive to better ourselves for sure.

Of course, but tinder is a great way to learn from your past mistakes. It's trial and error with every girl you talk to. Girls love texting, and tinder is a great way to master the art of texting.

I'm starting to hate tinder and all other dating apps. In real life I can bag a 7-9 and seal the deal for closing on all my dates.. But these dating apps tells a different story.

But why are using dating apps? Maybe you feel more confident? Maybe girls are more selective because they don't want to meet someone that is using a dating app because is a loser, so they try to understand just looking at pictures to understand something that only with a real interaction in the real life can show.

That's the whole point of Tinder: it gives women a plethora of options and it gives guys access to sexual opportunities without even getting out of bed. So if you're going to stand out from the herd, you have to be something special.

And if you're going to go for the pick of the litter, you better have the traits that stand out on Tinder - be great looking/have a good profile pic and have great text game.

That's why I don't use Tinder - gotta get my ass in shape first to make it worthwhile.
