I haven't seen a lot written on this topic, so I thought it should be stated. You should always have 2-3 places where you feel at "home". This is a place where everyone knows you (bartender, managers, regulars, etc). This works ideally with bars and clubs, but can be applied to anywhere.

The reason I say you should have more than one, is because one (or more) should be for finding new girls and one should be for dates. I can't tell you how much value it shows when you walk into a club with a girl and are able to pass the line, walk right in, the bartender has a drink for you without even asking and the whole time you are there people are walking over to you saying hello. Girls eyes literally go wide from surprise and you look like the man!

Doing this doesn't involve money or a significant time investment. In fact, once you develop your spot, you will start spending less and less.

1)Find a place you like, get there really early* and talk to everyone. Girls, guys, security, everyone.

*You get there early because when it is dead they have nothing to do so they are very open to conversations. Just give some reason why you are there early so you don't look like you don't have a life

2)Be fun/interesting. Make up stories if you have to!

3)Remember their names and tip generously! (30% minimum).

4)Order the same first drink and try to get the same bartender.

5) Repeat

Don't underestimate the value of social proof.
