Context: When on a date, moving locations preferably, use some variation of taking her hand and saying "wait," then kissing her in that expectant pause in order to help smooth the potential clumsiness of the first kiss.

Evidently this guys has tried it twice this week and it's been a home run every time.

I hate to be that guy but I really think that you are who should get credit for the 2 for 2, not this technique. It just maybe adds some cuteness to the situation but if you want to kiss the girl just go for it. All this technique is is a way to alleviate some of your own anxiety, but if a girl kisses you with it she'll kiss you without it, and vice versa. What I'm saying though ultimately doesn't matter because if it works for you that's awesome and you're getting what you want. But I do want to point out that its not some magical method that is used to bypass all the leg work that needs to happen beforehand leading up to a kiss.

This reminds me of my most successful first date. I took her to a punk show, some band neither of us cared about, because we just wanted a fun first date. We were talking in between songs and getting along. We wandered up by the front. I asked if she wanted to get into the pit, and she said she's never done that. The pit at punk shows is not violent. It's just kids pushing each other. So, I grabbed her, kissed her hard and pulled her into the pit. She was dropping L-bombs just a couple weeks later. Bottom line, I didn't know it at the time, but I basically used the "wait" line and was hugely successful.
