Theory v. Experience, What's more important?

There are millions of years of mating evolution where writing wasn't even invented and this type of content is so niche that maybe 1% of the world is aware of it. And they mostly all meet and mate effectively.

It sounds like there's two things that are keeping you from going from reading theory to putting it into practice.

The first is fear of rejection. When I started learning seduction I had this problem, too. I made it a point to study my ass off so I would be successful with 100% of the women I talked to.

That didn't work, and the fear of rejection never fully goes away, even when you're confident af and are sleeping with multiple women. The fear will always be there, and you're always going to get rejected by someone. Best advice I can give you is to get your ass out there and start talking to women. You'll get rejected until you aren't.

The second thing is that it sounds like whatever seduction teachers you're listening to are absolute garbage, and your gut is telling you so. I'll write a whole post about this someday, but most "lifestyle coaches" suck because they're more concerned with making sure their social media algorithm is reaching as many people as possible than they are with giving good advice. This leads to a lot of rage farming for views. So they'll say shit that's totally ridiculous just to piss people off so they get noticed. They'll ground a piece or two of good advice in a mountain of bullshit.

Find someone who is giving effective advice for meeting women while not demanding that you change your entire personality. You won't be happy if you get good at seduction at the cost of your identity, anyway (I'm speaking from experience).

Theory is about showing you proper way. But you need to walk it on your own. Theory without experience is just a dream.

Hey bro I know what it's like to read lots of information and watch lots of videos, when you're consuming the content we can lift you and make you feel a sense of confidence but then when it comes to actually going out everything that you've learnt goes out the window you feel a sense of deflation, and then, before you know it, you find yourself back in front of the laptop, consume an even more content to try and bring back that motivation and confidence that you felt only a few days beforehand.... The truth is content products knowledge information , is never going to take away that knot in your stomach, and the apprehension you feel on an emotional level. ALl that theory won't be assimilated until you actually put it into practice, adn the more theory you consume the more you have to put into practice to truly understand it. You may think you understand the theory but you don't actually truly get it until you test it over and over and over and fail over and over then going back to the theory and practicing again and again.

The RSD product won't help you not because it's bad or anything, but because the product is just giving you the illusion of progress without making actual progress. That is why you opt for it, because its a coping mechanism to deal with the fact that you are not approaching women.

Reading theory can be helpful, but only as a tool to iron out a spot you’re having trouble with. Beyond that, it’s a cope to rationalize not approaching: “just one more book and I’ll be ready then for sure!”

The more I’ve gotten into this game the more caveman style thinking becomes the clear and best path: “I see something hot, I’m gonna go get it or (figuratively) die with honor doing so.”

Learn the fundamentals of game from an rsd product, such as hot seat. The rest is going out and learning. Field experience is king. You would learn this from most rsd products.

80% Exp, 20% Theory.

For me, doing RSD Owen's bootcamp was life changing. We would learn the system from 2pm - 9pm and practice it at night until 3am.

Now that I'm back irl, I'm regressing into my thoughts. I've lost the adrenaline rush my body anticipated during the bootcamp. Momentum killed.

Now, theory doesn't help approach anxiety. However, based on what I learned at RSD, the solution is gaming with like-minded men. That will guarantee I return to gaming again.

Experience. Holy shit. If everyone forgot everything they read online and just went and were around strange people, they'd be better off. Theory is actively harmful because most of theory out there is actively harmful and bad. The only parts of the old theory that is sound is 'go out and talk to people'. It gets just constantly more insane after that.

DO NOT APPROACH. That is antisocial bullshit. Make friends and socialise. Don't approach. Socialise. Big difference.
