Personally, screw perception. Meeting new people, It's how we interact with one another. Humans are naturally social creatures. How the hell else are you supposed to find a potential mate? Sure you can use the internet and dating sites but we shouldn't rely on solely that.

Absolutely be respectful when you approach, no cat calls or dumb shit like that. But don't be afraid to talk to someone you're interested in. If she takes offense to you presenting yourself as a potential partner then she was a bad fit to begin with.

You have to put in the work to see the results. Simple as that.

When you approach a beautiful girl, other men around you will subconciously realize that you are their competition. They will also realize that they should be doing what you are doing, but they are probably too scared to act. Hence they will wish that you fail.

And in case of other women - they will get jealous, because by approaching another girl you imply there's someone else hotter than them. Competition again.

When you approach a girl, a lot of our deeply rooted animal insticts just fire off and create tensions.

Because it's weird that a stranger just approach you out of the blue. I would be scared honestly. Then again, depend on what culture that's present in your area.

I would rather approach girls if we are in a setting, like an event, debate comp, school festival, club fair, or a place, school, tuition, or the event venue. It makes convo easier to have, and it wont be awkward.

The big issue is some people make it awkward or even dangerous if the other person says no (assault, insults, etc). Obviously, don't be a dick when rejected and extract one's self with grace, the less it means when rejected, the less perceived pain as well.

OP are you in India or in the West? Because from my experience this is mostly how it works in the West. I'm in Canada and from my experience Canadians are very reserved and a bit full of themselves. This definitely is reflected in their women. Like they will not let a guy come from the outside easily. He mostly needs to come from the inside(i.e. friends of friends).

I think the difficulty is exponentially higher if you looks like a foreigner(i.e. ethnic). Like on dating apps this has been my experience as an ethnic guy. Traditional Canadian women on average will NOT match with me. But women my race will.

Going up to a woman you don't know and telling her she's beautiful will definitely brighten up her day. Even if she plays it off and acts like it doesn't really matter trust me, it'll have an impact. Forget about what society thinks, make someone who usually has to deal with the pressures of "not being beautiful enough" feel better about themselves.

Because they are working and have to be nice to you whether they actually want to or not. And if they don’t actually want to, you are getting in their way of doing their job. It can also be thought you are taking advantage of the fact that they have to be polite, which makes you look like a turd.
