Hi guys, I'd like to ask this girl on a date but the thing is that I can't pick her up (I have no car). Is walking to her appartment then go on the date by foot (if it's not too far) a problem ? Should we use her car ? Both choices feel pretty beta to me. Any suggestions ?

FR - Grocery Day Game - as I don't think it deserves its own post

Yesterday, I visited the grocery for a sandwich. I immediately saw this cute girl who was waiting at the line for a sandwich right in front of me. I struggle with approach anxiety but I somehow managed to open her about the agony of waiting in line while being so hungry. I then complimented about how she put together her outfit and we talked about how the good the sandwiches were at the store. I also threw in something about cycling 50 miles and running 12 miles that earlier that day and letting telling her now how famished I was at the time. She thanks me for the nice chat, pays for her food and proceeds to eat at the community table.

I then pay for my food and eat across from her at the community table. I finally introduce myself to her and she gives me her name. We joke about how 1/2 a sandwich is more than enough for lunch and how we are saving the other half for later. She then tells me that she is dressed up as she is a realtor showing houses that day and usually works in her pajamas. I mention to her that I'm a doctor who usually dresses up in a suit and tie even though I don't have to and we talk about how important it is to dress up for our jobs. I also talked to her about the state of cycling in our city and the local cycling community since cycling is important to me.

As we are finishing our food, I couldn't muster up the courage to ask for her phone number. However, she gives me her business card and as she leaves but says something about "if you are in the market for a house."

So, should I ask a girl out on a date after she gave me her business card in this context? I know I should give zero fucks, just call her up, ask her out and deal with the consqeunces but I felt like I needed the validation of the seddit on this matter.

TL;DR - Should I call up a girl who gave me her business card after meeting her at the grocery?

Hello!

I had a few really good dates with one particular girl over winter break. We go to different schools in socal/norcal so I won't see her over six months. In this time do I just get on with my life, hit her up once in while and just assume that the attraction that I built is enough?

A lot of the advice around here says things like "If you embarrass yourself or she rejects you, nothing happens, you don't have to ever talk to her again." What about in high school where you see the same people every day?

Also, any tips on getting with girls in high school? When people aren't as experienced with sex and dating (eg. teenagers), it seems like a totally different dynamic.

A nerd girl on okCupid said she wanted to learn Japanese, I got her interest by proclaiming that I could teach her to read in a week. We had a coffee date, almost 4 hours, much like any other date but with the occasional pause to study. It went great, she was flirtatious in text the next day. Fast forward a week and she says that she's "decided she's not looking to date right now" and has deleted her okCupid account... but she is keen for another coffee/study session tomorrow (just be friends)! I'm of the impression she said what she said because of nerves, she is only 19 (I'm 25) and I don't think she's ever had a boyfriend. Likely a virgin. How do I transition her back into the "potential relationship" mentality?

I want to cold approach girls at a mall nearby since that's the only place that logistically works for me doing cold approach.

How should I open them? Advice for this in general? How should I open differently depending on a group and its size?

So I'm 23, a junior in Uni, and have never been on a real date before. I've always had problems with anxiety and confidence but I've made a lot of progress this last year. Anyway I met a new girl yesterday, shes a transfer student and is in 3 of my classes. We have a lot of the same interests (shes an astrophysics major, while that's my minor), and I feel our chemistry is building. Today after our last class I asked if she had plans Friday night and she said no, so I offered to take her out to explore a bit of the town and maybe catch a show at our Uni's planetarium. She smiled and said that sounds great, we exchanged numbers and I walked her home. Now, this isn't explicitly a date, but I feel that if it goes well and we connect that it can definitely head towards a relationship (which I am seeking). Since my experience in these things is so minimal, I'd like some advice on how to move it in that direction comfortably. For instance, since it's not explicitly a date, how should I initiate touching to show my interest without potentially turning her off? Any other tips to avoid common mistakes would be greatly appreciated as well.

So I'm a freshman in college and am very interested in one of the girls that lives on my floor. I have been seeing a lot of signs that she is interested in me and we get along great so I am ready to ask her out. The only problem is, I'm not really sure where to take her on a first date. I have a car so transportation is not a problem and I am open to suggestions. I went ice skating with her and another girl and guy so she likes that, and there's a coffee shop that her and I both love but I'm not sure how those would be for a first date. I was also considering taking her to a nice restaurant but I'm not totally sure what kind of food she likes. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Just a quick one on text game. Sometimes I take ages to respond because I'm a bit lazy with it. Is this a good thing- ie seeming more busy than I am?

Also, I've used this line: Her: We should go to that club together next week Me: Maybe, if I don't lose your number first.

No response from her (yet- but she's a slow responder)

Ok so, bit longer than one sentence but I thought I'd try asking this here. Met this girl at seasonal at retail, really had fun talking at breaks even though she talked about herself most of the time. She isn't like the girl of my dreams or anything, but she is a decent girl and I haven't been this confident with any girl before. We only talked for 10-15 mins each for like 5-6 times in break rooms then I added her on fb. Found out she isn't as interested as I thought and she didn't reply as much but did reply. Turns out she had an ex- problem and she always writes in her status about how she can't fall in love again, doesn't want any guys to hit her up, etc etc. That's why I just tell her that I'm being friendly and that I thought she east the friendliest at work. Anyways, since I never had a date, or a gf and I'm 20, I ask her if she wanted to go watch that movie on Monday.(labor day break.) She asks which one and I say either 'Her' or 'Lone survivor.' She doesn't care but she likes mark wahlberg from lone survivor. I haven't said a thing. What I need suggestion is with what to say next: how to set up this informal meeting and what time. Also, since it's my first date, I'm a little bit nervous so any advice on how to approach this particular situation would be helpful. Do I ask her to stay for a coffee after? Do I pay for both in movie and coffee? Etc. Very confused. Plz help, seddit

Tl;Dr: first date. She thinks I'm just a friend. I put myself on friendzone for a while hoping situation would arise. Going to movies. Nervous. Suggestions plz?

What are people's thoughts on the "I'm not your boyfriend" line when a girl asks you favours (like a lift home etc)...? Does it plant the idea/seed in their head that you might be later or something?

How do you ask a girl to send you nudes? Obviously you have to do the ground work first but when you have a sexual text going how do you prompt them to send nudes?
