From my experience, one of the many attributes a HVM has is his hobbies. You want someone who ENHANCES your life, and that includes introducing you to new and fun activities. Hobbies show that someone is interested in devoting their time and energy into a creative or rewarding outlet.

Actual hobbies: writing, reading, meditation, yoga, cooking, fitness (different than “gym rat”), learning a new language, rock climbing, hiking, botany/plant collecting, volunteering, singing, travel, etc.

Not actual hobbies: hanging out with friends, playing video games, going to work, golfing as a form of networking for work (still work related, therefore not a hobby), going out to bars every weekend, going on Tinder dates (I actually had a guy answer this when I asked him what he does for fun. Idk why I didn’t just leave the date right then and there), binge watching Netflix

These activities don’t actually count as hobbies. Is he enriching your life or others’ lives with his Fortnite Twitch account with 10 followers? No. Move on sis.

Side note, he’s not The One if he only owns two bowls and one plastic cup in his kitchen. I don’t make the rules.
