Don't confront him with facts, men aren't good with facts talk, they like to try to over-ride facts with sophistry and even outright lies. He did it and that's who he is, he showed you and you'd better believe it.

If you really feel the need to offer reasons I suggest make them very general and subjective and maybe even say the reason you can't be with him is because YOU were distracted... which you kinda were, hard to keep your mind on liking a guy while he's texting others. "There was just no spark... at times my attention really wandered and in between it just didn't seem to pick up again. By the end of the the date I was truly indifferent. It would be good for neither of us to try to make something of this. I wish you the best of luck with your search for that one special someone... who isn't me."

This is very negative thinking tho, don’t give in to that. First things first: you had your own back. Yes, he was a cheating LVM, but you dumped him. You didn’t take it lying down. This means that you can trust yourself to leave when it’s not a healthy situation for you. You should be proud of that. I know I am!

Second, I realised that the fact that I missed some red flags in the beginning and that I was actually attractive to N/LVM had to do with my poor boundaries and people pleasing. I had to fix that myself so that dating a N/LVM in the future will be even less likely.

Sounds like it may have been deliberate to test your boundaries and triangulate, wouldn't be surprised if it's a tactic trp or pua promote. I had a guy at work trying to show interest and I made it clear I wasn't interested, then he proceeded to show me a photo of a hot woman he'd been meeting from OLD to try and arouse some competition in me and make himself seem more sought after, pathetic! 😂
